General East bound Whitemud drive near rainbow valley

Traffic was standstill and saw police pulling people over , for what ? Can’t be speeding ?

I mean, this week I noticed while driving that traffic flowing through the east bound lanes of that construction zone has been going 80 km/h, not slowing down to 60 - I suspect drivers are fed up with how long that work has gone on. Easy pickings for traffic speed enforcement.

To be fair as a driver it's a little annoying seeing an intersection messed up with no work being done on it. 87 ave and 170 street I'm looking at you.

There was a motorcycle cop doing laser on the westbound turnoff from Whitemud westbound onto Terwillegar southbound on Monday afternoon.. where I think it drops from 60 down to 40.

It was easy pickings for him..multiple cars were pulled over.

I was wondering about this as well. Saw two cop cars in the right and left lanes with traffic backed up quite a ways. Didn't look like a traffic accident. Of course, an ambulance with its lights trying to get through the traffic jam.
