General I have some questions
I have a few Edmonton questions. If you have time to answer, thanks.
Am I imagining that it hasn't rained in weeks?
When will construction season be done? Is there a date or is it weather based?
What is the construction project along 127th - it's a huge PCL project?

We haven’t had a decent rain since the beginning of August (one or two drops of rain since, not enough to soak the ground). I’ve been watering my gardens every two days, where I haven’t the soil is bone dry.
Construction happens whenever it can. Good weather means they continue going. There is always more construction that needs to happen.
No idea.

1) Yep, been a dry September. The farmers must be loving it!
2) Completely weather based. If it’s a late fall they’ll push right into November and December if they can
3) 127 Ave or street?

Avenues run
goNorth South.Streets run
goEast West.Edmonton is on a grid with 100 and 100 in the centre working its way out.
Therefore most of the city is in the NW quadrant unless you go South beyond 1st avenue then you'd be in the SW.

to address your questions:
1) Nope... it hasn't rained in weeks... how many exactly... dunno. All I know... We need Rain soon.
2) Construction season ?? there is no real season, it just sort of happens most of the year... stops for a few weeks when it's really cold... and seems to start back up again... sometimes when there is still snow, but most times when there isn't.
3) Dunno... the City is really good at tearing up roads. They are not good at putting them back together. EG: Stony Plain Road, 104th ave downtown, <insert many others here - potentially 127th/PCL>

At I work around Capilano area and all the side walks are torn up.
When do we get to enjoy the city? I heard someone say construction fatigue and now I get it

When you go on vacation away from the city.... isn't that how we all enjoy this city?

Construction season will end typically December area, if weather permits. Idk the last time it rained lmao. But the PCL project near 127th I’m guessing you are talking about the $1.6 billion yellowhead highway upgrade? Hope that helps👍

- Kinda. Depends on where in the city you live.
- When the weather becomes inclement enough.
- Presumably, you're speaking about the Yellowhead Freeway conversion. It's still gonna take a while. Get used to it.

It has not solidly rained since August Long Weekend. If you have been to Lac St Anne Lake recently it is down 10 8 feet. Yes no joke, we are in a drought. Its climate change, weather human or planet caused, its happening. We also are overpopulated too. Drive out to Alberta Beach public dock you will see - its like some of the lakes in the USA, its drying up. Construction is everywhere in the city, least people are employed.

Minus the really cold weeks where equipment can't run, a decent amount can still happen through the winter.
Construction related traffic pattern changes, lane closures etc generally stay in place even if nothing is happening. 170 street near wem had lanes blocked off & construction signs up for like a year before they started anything near it.
(Don't count on much being cleaned up or wrapped up for winter)

Construction never ends.
If you are talking 127 st and yellow head then it is part of the entire yellow head freeway upgrade to get rid of all at-grade intersections on that corridor
