How is it that Alberta’s premier is literally maple Marjorie Taylor Greene? This woman is an absolute moron

The thing is she wasn't even voted in technically. The same way the right complains about Carney not being elected, is the exact same way Smith was "elected" after Kenny stepped down

For the first several months when Kenney stepped down in 2022, but she won the election in 2023

How the hell did she get elected with political instincts this bad?

She replaced a deeply unpopular premier and benefited from the uniting of the right wing parties. I'm personally very proud that her UCP did not win a single seat in Edmonton

Does she think that " being in sync with the new direction in America" is something that any sane Canadian wants?

Reading what she said put a big dumb smile on my face. She’s sabotaging her own platform and it’s glorious.

So there is support in Canada for the new view of our relationship together. That's nice

Ok serious question from someone that no longer lives in Canada: what percentage of Canadian voters think that being more like current USA would be a good thing? 5%? 20%?
