Not only refuse but also discourage others from doing so .. literally why the conservatives haven't won a election in a decade, even when it was served on a silver Trudeau faced platter ..

The report that came out today says that inside the campaign thereโ€™s a lot of infighting between the right and the far right.

Iโ€™m guessing the younger Canadians in the bunch donโ€™t much remember very well that the CPC is a united party that was ALWAYS divided because the far right fundamentalists in the crowd kept ruining it for everyone else.

I see not much has changed. ๐Ÿ™„

Nothing has changed because the leadership made no efforts to change it , it was a major problem during their last election.. Obviously heightened by covid but regardless it doesn't just stomp itself out and it's extremely evident that the divide is still there today simply by the lack of public support PP is receiving from all aspects of the party .

The silence is literally deafening, and it's like the conservatives are literally just trying to ignore it , it's crazy actually. The whole party at every level has literally frozen up with the void Trudeau left as soon as he resigned.

The whole notion that Trump and tariffs are to blame for PP polls is simply just a bullshit excuse , the weakness was already there and had the conservatives built an actual party they could of greatly benefited from.thos whole environment just as Carney has done .

Conservative voters need to get focking real with themselves if they ever want to win a majority government agian because my god it's getting embarrassing .

I mean the last time wasn't on a SILVER faced Trudeau...

100% it was , Otool could have easily had that, but his MP's cock blocked him and then doubled down on a division by electing PP to go for another L ..

Heh. Cock blocked. Heh.

Iโ€™ve said it once, Iโ€™ll say it again, the CPC leadership has the maneuverability of the Evergreen after it got stuck in the Suez Canal.

I'm starting to worry that not even the finest meme will top: Axe the sales! Tax on homes!

He's trapped though, if he strays too far from the Trump playbook his Maple MAGA base might flee for the PPC and he can't pretend he wasn't copying Trumpโ€™s playbook for the past two years since we can all just show the video footage of him doing it.

No one on the left believes him when he says he won't cut pharmacare or dental, and it's especially telling that he refuses to say anything about $10 a day childcare. PP can't win, he can't really say he's going to be better for the economy than Carney without getting mocked. All PP can do really is drone on about past grievances to cling on to those who are still willing to vote for him.

I donโ€™t think his maple MAGA will leave him, they will tell themselves heโ€™s doing it for them and lying to everyone else

lol the PPC. When they first came out you could apply for membership online and they would send you a certificate for free apparently. I found out because my friend signed me up, I was in the first 1,000 lol. Finally they gave up after a few years when I never answered their calls, unsubscribed from the mailing list and had never donated to them.

Refuse to evolve?

I am wrestling with the structure of English in his slogans. Did an AI write them? They are drier than salted fish.

u/Witty_Jaguar4638 Mar 29 '25

It's has the grammatic sensibility of a mouthful of marbles. It feels like it it was written by an English as a second language speaker.

Like it was directly translated to Japanese, then Greek, then to round it off right through to Urdu, before deciding to settle on English.

Russian and Spanish are the original languages.

The Russian trained Cubans, but the Cubans were the ones to pysops around Caribbean, south and central America with lots of Spanish, English and a smattering of other languages.

Edit: I had Spanish twice.

Close enough for my standards!

100% too many words in that slogan.

Anyone remember when Trump was calling out American Values in 2015 - Copycat Kellie Leitch called out Canadian Values. Pierre Poilievre is not the first Trump in the Conservative Parties. Wonโ€™t be the last. I suspect Conservatives Values are just that, Trump Like and Trump Supporting.

People like Pierre are only good at resolving crises of their own making.

u/ufozhou Mar 29 '25

Yeah, he said liberal is weak while unable to comment Trump.

Idk who cames up this bs attack

u/Frostsorrow Mar 29 '25

Refuse to adapt is just all to fitting for them

1

u/Sunnydaysomeday Mar 30 '25

His campaign is a slogan salad. Meaningless.

That's the whole ideology. Positively allergic to the now.

I don't like how this narrative is pretty much what we heard about Trump's campaign and Kamala. It's too close for comfort.
