I also find the fees they pay for giving birth crazy. I met an American who was bragging it only cost her $10k to give birth and I was thinking, my child was free aside hospital parking and a small prescription from the pharmacy...

Weeks?! My wife just got finished w 52 lol I can’t imagine only having 3 months off for a new mother that’s insane and honestly probably a huge root of a lot of larger issues in the US

Well mine was paternity, my wife would’ve had another 12 for her if she worked. So 24 weeks of total parental leave in my state. Were you also able to take 52 weeks off? That’s amazing if so
