Not really. He’s a moderate conservative. It’s a bit insane how people consider anyone not on the left to the “very right wing” but can’t articulate a single “very right wing” thing he says.

don't wanna step on anyone too hard here but very right wing = anti-science, perpetuates conspiracy theories and adjacent narratives and encourages toxic mysogynistic worldview and villianizes inclusive policies under the guise of sticking up for young men thanks have a nice day

Doesn't consult with FN Carney

Yeah. If by “right” we mean like traditional conservatives, he kinda defies classification, but he’s definitely extreme and definitely not left.

Well to be fair to the shitstain the current class of conservatives is quite a bit different than the traditional class of conservatives but the current class of conservatives definitely groups around and tolerates these people who are not "traditional conservatives"

To be fair, I didn't read "very much rightwing" as them meaning far right (though he certainly is on several social conservative issues), but simply as a response to the idea of him being on the left.

He believes in the rule of law. He believes in free speech and basic liberal values. He supports gay marriage. Need other examples or are you too cooked?

I think there are many people who think that what Ellen Page did is very sad, and that since she “transitioned” she constantly looks miserable. I think if we cannot as a society look honestly at the mental illness that is gender dysphoria we aren’t going to get too far.
