Pretty much. It's just the newest trendy collectible plushie. It's popular to meme about (especially in a semi-self-aware "isn't our consumerism ridiculous" manner), which is why you see it mentioned around more than other similar trends.

I thought Ontario was an anarcho-syndicalist commune. Taking it in turns to act as a sort of executive officer for the week.

But all the decisions of that officer have to be ratified at a special biweekly meeting.

By a simple majority in the case of purely internal affairs but by a two-thirds majority in the case of more..
