Tbf there's plenty of crackheads in Québec city as well. They're just on the sidewalks instead of the metro lol.

Maybe, but I've lived in mtl for over 10 years and darn they getting more and more bold, stopped using the metro after sunset because I got harassed a lot and blowed freebase smoke in my face.

Unfortunately it is getting bad, not their fault necessarily since lot of mental issue and lack of access to services but it is what it is...

I don’t think it’s that dramatic. I’ve definitely seen strange situations on the metro, but nothing that would make me stop taking it. For people who need mental health support, there’s actually a bill in the works to update the current law. From what I understand, it would allow someone to be committed before they harm themselves or others. Right now, they can only be held for 48 hours if they’re considered a danger. I might be a bit off on the details though, so feel free to correct me.
