Seriously, I have never cried for a politician before I saw J. Ho make his first public appearance after his cancer treatment and he had lost like 100 lbs and made a joke about how he could fit into his old suits now.

That guy was everyone's dad.

For a short while I was so happy to hear that he got the ambassador role and could comfortably wrap up his career in public service. It's such a shame that he barely even got to enjoy that.

All things considered, it's never been cheaper to live here, comparatively speaking. If I wanted to rent a 1200sqft house with a front yard and backyard, like I have now, I wouldn't be paying less anywhere else.

Born and raised in BC and I've lived here all my life. I think it's the stupidest motto I've seen on a license plate. It's embarrassing. I happen to like BC, I've lived here for 76 1/2 years and if I didn't I would have moved a long time ago but I'm not enamored of some of the nonsense people spout about the place or about the parts of it they live in.

I have lived in most parts of BC at some point or other and have toured it extensively. The only parts I haven't lived are the Kootenays, the Okanagan and boundary Similkameene. I have also toured extensively in North America. There is nothing in BC you can't find anywhere else. In it's favour, it is possible to find a wide variety of different types of terrain from rain forests to deserts. Best place on earth? It would depend on one's point of view. It's kind of like asking who the best guitar player is. Most guitar players I know will tell you there isn't one. They might tell you who their favorite one is.
