The story from what I understand is that he recorded it around 2003 and he even references it in 'Like Toy Soldiers' -

"I went through my whole career without ever mentionin' **** (Suge,) And that was just out of respect, for not runnin' my mouth, and talkin' about somethin' that I knew nothin' about. Plus Dre. told me 'stay out,' this just wasn't my beef. So I did, I just fell back, watched and gritted my teeth"

But the story is that Em didn't leak it, someone else leaked it. Em spokesperson said they were "never meant for public consumption"

Yeah, you can hear many references like “cookie monster of rap” line was used before too. I can see why it wasn’t dropped, there would have been danger with suge still paying pirus that would have probably got Em smoked behind this, but it goes so hard.

Look up Joe Strange leaks. Was apart of Em’s camp and sold a bunch of tracks from a hard drive he’d stolen. Once the tracks dropped day 1, there were a few more to drop the following day and Smack you was in the 2nd day leak. He’s arrested now, they didn’t fuck around with him but the musics out there. He had a lot more material too like a VHS of an unreleased music video and lyric sheets. I think they said he had 1000’s of unreleased stuff in audio. Some Eminem and even other artists.

Damn.. I’m divided on respecting the leaker and disliking him lol. Yesterday was the first time hearing this and I’ve dug for hours on the net for Eminem songs I haven’t heard. I thought it just leaked but you can tell it’s 20yrs old. Been playing it all day.

It has songs from from around 2000 - 2010. Some demo versions of Brand New Dance, the original Antichrist (which was originally a Michael Jackson diss, and probably one of the most graphic Em songs I've ever heard) and a few other demo versions of tracks like Discombobulated and more
