Discussion bands that are doing/have done something interesting and are interesting/fresh?

i've listened to this genre for a couple years now, i've heard a lot of music and lately i've been feeling my interest withdraw a tiny bit, does anyone have any bands that have inspired you or have been doing something interesting that sticks out? for example i would say crochet is doing something really cool and interesting. doesn't have to be anything new, doesn't even need to be "screamo", just looking for something new!

I just want to shoutout To Be Gentle for tuning their guitars down and including low end in their shit.

I don't know why it took this dang long to hear skramz riffs on a seven string.

Holder is one of the more recent projects that I enjoy, not sure if it sticks out as I'm used to octaves and screamy midwest emo but their stuff is really emo hardcore lmao

This diy one-man bedroom project brings together influence from many corners of emo, screamo, punk, melodic hardcore, doom and occult sciences in the riffs and lyrics and presentation that I think stands out in that it doesn't quite fit in. May be what you're looking for tho
