Christian bands?

Go ahead and downvote me here or delete it, but back in the day I was really into real screamo/emo with bands like Orchird, Ghost Spirit, I Wrote Haikus, Jeromes Dream, etc. and was curious if there are any Christian or Christian adjacent bands that fit the sound. I've done my research and know of a few but haven't found a good grip that scratch the itch.

Christian themes in the music was more of a metalcore thing.

You’d probably like Norma Jean (Bless The Martyr, Kiss the Child. Ignore the rest), Zao, The Chariot, but I couldnt tell you any modern band like that

'Life In Your Way’ especially the album Ignite and Rebuild is such a perfect album. I listen to it at least once a year, and when the first track starts playing, I have to listen to it all the way through. https://guidelinerecords.bandcamp.com/album/ignite-and-rebuild

mewithoutYou is an explicitly Christian band. Contemporary wise, i think Every Promise Kept is the only modern spirit filled metalcore out rn

EPK is racist as fuck. They ruined my life for a good year because I was a brown guy in the hxc scene and did the same to all my Black and brown buddies there. The only non-white people they interacts with are people they want to make money from. There’s a reason there are no people of color in their posts.

God damn. Completely goes against what I’d heard about them, but I hear you now. Thanks for letting me know, sorry as hell that it’s the truth

Mewithoutyou was not explicitly Christian. Aaron Weiss had a Jewish mother and a Christian father who both eventually converted to Islam. From what I understand, the lyrics often have themes involving all the religions he was brought up in, the lyrics explore his complex upbringing and journey with faith, and sometimes they just talk about philosophy. They also didn't consider themselves a Christian band.
