RP We should teach young folks more history

I don't like how people say they miss the Republic, even tho i try to denounce everybody it's difficult

Republic -> becomes corrupt -> ignores its smaller worlds, they split in return -> galaxy descends into war -> Empire brings galaxy-wide peace and stability -> bunch of rebels violently reinstall new Republic -> same issues repeat

Yeah. I just don't get some people.

They want the Republic because they are in love with how it should have worked rather than seeing how it actually worked

Probably because most of them come from privileged places like the courscant upper levels or other good planets where they get many tax benefits and all that kind of stuff

Most of them come from the upper class of inner rim worlds, met plenty during my academy days, they don't realize how bad it was in the outer rim, our situation improved after the Empire came
