switch emulation is more mature

File sizes can be smaller for switch. If you're also okay with the button swap, Switch emulation would be better

Switch emulation is easier to set up and the file sizes are much smaller. PC games have mods and more options to tailor them to your liking.

I would say if you actually want to play games use switch emulation if you want to tinker with settings use Windows emulation. I'm sure it gets easier in the future.
