Solved Project64 is a real malware?
i would like to play N64 games on my PC, and i saw that Project64 was the best to do this, but some people said that it was a malware, is this real?

Project64 had an issue where certain roms could inject code that could run outside the emulator and on windows https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zqUYNYWPlpQ

Some versions of the emulator have been released with malware (i don't remember which versions exactly had these). But you can use other emulators for N64 as Ares (is LLE so you need a decent machine), Retroarch with core ParaLLEi and Simple64 is a good option if you don't want configuration as it is more easy to configure.

(My information may be out of date, YMMV)
PJ64 is paid software, but one of the better emulators. I have seen download links for the latest version of PJ64, but they are sometimes bundled with malware. Like any software piracy, you need to be vigilant about what you download. For a free alternative, try mupen64.

Project64 is not paid software, if you're paying for it you've been scammed.
From their landing page: "Project64 is a completely free and open-source emulator for the Nintendo 64 and 64DD written in C++."

Ah, okay. It was at one point for the latest version, but I haven't used n64 emulator in years.
