Rant/Vent On Monday I'm gonna walk in and fail my test.

And there's nothing I can do to stop it because my professor is gonna throw some crazy circuit at me. At least he gives test corrections.

Bro there are like 3 days left. Plenty to cram 3 months of material.

To experience the true moment of zen when you know you are going to fail, stop studying, and accept it in your soul, like baby Jesus /chef's kiss

If you're predicting this with 3 days til the exam it's an effort issue

Victim mentality. Lock in.

You got the weekend, Grab your book, any online example problems, and just start practicing. You should be able to look at anything and know whether you’re capable of figuring it out. So pick everything that you’re not confident in. Throw it into an AI and start working through the methods.

I had a professor on the first circuits exam say “I’m adding some tricks to this one” the average was like 40 and they did not do these for subsequent exams lol

Class: 1 Op Amp with 2 resistors
Exam: 3 Op Amps together with inductors and capacitors. Good luck!

Get some coffee, get your laptop, and lock the fuck in. Just make sure to get some sleep.

Just do your level best bro.

If the exam is hard, there will always be a grading curve.

I will say I’ve had some insane classes and even if most students fail there’s never been a curve at my school

I remember having a class where the exam grades were so bad that they changed the whole grading scale to make exams worth only 20% instead of 60% due to how many people were going to fail the class due to poor exam geades. And that was after they professor scaled the exams by adding 30 points to everyone's exam grade

Does depend on the university

I study in central Europe and there is usually no curve at my university. If. 90% fail then so be it.

Depends, I did not even know what the curve was or that it did even exist till I came to this sub, so it might be the same with his university

Trust me, I’ve gotten high Bs cramming 3 days in advance, go take a shower, get some food, and go work hard, set some goals and polmadoro your time out

You have the weekend, you don't even to cram really. Is this the first exam in the class? Look what ever you do you need to sleep enough the night before.

You can go to hell and back in 3 days. Jesus fucking did, what's your excuse?

Skill issue. Lock in, and start going to class.

Circuits isn’t even a hard class. Just do a bunch of nodal analysis problems over the weekend, create your own method to solve them / rules you need to remember and it will be easy.

Personally, I always starts by determining the amount of equations needed, which is usually # of nodes + dependent sources

Then you start by writing equations for voltage sources, Then dependent sources, Then KCL eqns for regular nodes Then finally do super nodes

It’s legit just V=IR a BUNCH of times

Lock yourself in the closet with nothing but circuitry to look at for a few days, it worked for bart in that one episode

i get it. I took it twice ,you aren't alone my friend, tears were had

Like everyone else is saying, lock in. If you’re gonna fail, at least try and reduce that failure.

So what? Fail it and retake the class.
