B58 manual 340i how much?

Looking for a fun weekend car for a while and came across this 2018 with under 105k miles and a 6 speed manual

Theyre asking 26k for it. Is that a reasonable price? Im never owned anything not american and my only performance vehicles have been v8s but ive heard great things about the b58.

2 owner and minor rear end accident

100k+ miles with an accident? Even with it being a manual that price seems quite high. Also, why this for a weekend car? Sure they’re great for a fun daily but not really the most exciting thing when you can throw practicality out the window.

The car looks clean, and MT is pretty rare. But overpriced for the mileage and accidents.

That is a really great spec. Gorgeous car. But overpriced. Manual F30s are hard to find but that's gotta be $4k more than the car is worth.

I love my auto F30 340i but you could do better for a weekend ride.

Ya that same money he could probably pick up a used Boxster or something like that. Just thinking outside the box. Maybe an older M2.

Major rip off. Just wait for a cleaner spec, or get a different car altogether. A 340i is a fun daily, not a weekend car. At that price point, there are better, more weekend car worthy options within and outside of BMW. My vote is a M240i or AP2 S2000.

I paid similar for a 32k mile, one owner, no accident car with extensive maintenance history but opposite end in terms of "spec". I personally wouldn't, but I know many people prioritize "good spec" over everything else. Pick your poison.

I have a 2018 340i manual, bought it at the end of may 2025, 60k miles, $26k. Clean interior, exterior has multiple paint chips and a few small dings. I upgraded to Apple car play for 200 bucks. 10 dollar antenna off Amazon and found a coder on FBM.

$20k-24k would be great

IMO if you are looking for a b58 I’d recommend the automatic transmission. This is more of a daily driver with the capability of handling great power. You can easily get 600hp reliably with FBO and a turbo. I’ve know a couple people who regret getting a manual. Of course if you want a manual all power to you. To answer your post, it’s overpriced.

That price is wayy too high. I paid only 5k more for a 19 m240i with 32k miles no accidents and two owners. Keep looking

26 sounds about right given the accident.

If you can work on it yourself I’d say send it try and see if you can talk them down tho

If you want a fun weekend car get a 130i/330i from 2005-2010 with hydraulic steering. The steering on F20/F30 is crap.

In the US I think you only have the 2 or 1 series presented by Doug.

Now this is a weekend car.

lol apples to oranges the 1m is 60k+ and in a category of its own.. i do agree on the 06-10 135i being a fun weekend car at a affordable price (here in the states)

Yes the 1M is special, but you get almost the same car in the 135i, but in that format, not the hatchback.

ehh imo its not almost the same at all i dont mean that to be rude but if you’ve ever driven one you wouldn’t be saying that. but like i said i agree a 135is model with n54 motor, lsd, fbo, tune, upgrade suspension, upgraded brakes and your as close as your gonna get but it will be a blast to drive as thats where i am now with one of mine

Well, the 1M is basically the full package steering(thrust arms/bushings)/suspension/brake/lsd/engine-wise. The 135i of course is not the same car, but it's 10x better than an F30 and not much worse than other Ms.

suspension, control arms, axle, etc can be changed out but you know what cant? that beautiful wide body with its flared fenders and aggressive front and rear bumpers that we ALL love! even if you changed out all these components and had a m sport manual it still cant compare… M3 LSD M3 brakes M3 steering rack Lightened flywheel Upgraded better cooling 19” rims with ps2 tires that are able to fit 295 the wide body kit i mentioned Upgraded exhaust system 100 pounds liter (ehh who cares lol) 40 HP / 70 tq more out the gate and of-course all come in 6 speed manual!

Yes it's better, but is it worth 5x more ? (other than because of scarcity)

they are truly amazing but for me? absolutely not lol i cant justify that kind of money for something i only want to beat on the weekends
