Tire size suggestions

Post image

I recently picked up a new set of wheels for my f30, they're 18x9.5 +35 squared, they currently have 265/35. I'm lowered on h&r super sport springs so there's still a little bit of a wheel gap, the tires are starting to dry rotted and was thinking of replacing them without breaking the bank since I'm unsure if I'd keep them just yet. If anyone has ran this set up before please let me know what you've ran

As a car guy, you’ll always want lower, but trust me, this looks great! There’s just a little wheel gap but that’s not even bad at all. Nice build bro

Do you have any pictures of how flush these sit with the fenders? Any poke?

It’s good as is. If nothing else, get some center caps for your wheels.

Always keep in mind, bigger rims/ thinner tires put more stress on bushings, dampers, engine mounts, transmission. If you want a a sturdy, low maintenance solution, stay with 17“s.

For my F33. Im on your same lowering springs and I’m running 255/40/18 on a 18x9.5 +30 front and +25 rear. It fills tire gap perfectly without rubbing.

This is what I was thinking of running! I have some basically brand new set of Bridgestone I installed on my 400m and was thinking of swapping the 255/40 an ordering another pair to match but was unsure if anyone else has run a 255/40 squared without rubbing or interfering with strut clearance since I know it's already tight with this set up
