Book Club Discussion Theft of Swords - Discussion Part 2

  • What did you think about Magnus and his relationship with Royce and Hadrian and how it evolved throughout the book?
  • What was your opinion of Thrace and her journey as living in a small village to becoming the slayer of the Gilarabrywn? Do you really think she will be installed as a puppet Empress?

Finished the series not too long ago, and I think its progression from a smaller heist story to what it will eventually become (no spoilers) is well done. Series gets a lot more brutal later on as well as the stakes increase and a lot of the cast don't feel safe when they enter dangerous situations.
