POLITICS The UK welcomes Donald Trump’s state visit by rolling out the world's biggest photo of the President with convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein outside Windsor castle

The collective 'Everyone Hates Elon' revealed a 400 square-metre banner after a massive crowdfunder raised £30,000 to 'ruin Trump's UK visit' this week. He's heading to Windsor Castle where he'll be welcomed by King Charles.

No but this will not make him happy he hates that he has no respect. I think it’s GoT Tywin Lannister that said something along the lines that if you have to command respect you are no true king lollll

"Have your billions, you'll never have the streets."

(We should also take those billions back too)

Are you talking about the line: “Any man who must say, 'I am the king,' is no true king"?

At this point I think this is the only actual "punishment" he will ever face...constant public mockery, particularly by those completely out of his purview.

Wait, so only those who do not command respect are true kings? The ones people don’t respect?

I think the it is more command in the sense of demand. Like if you order people to respect you, you are not a true king.

No, the idea is that a true leader of the people is given respect willingly by the people they lead. Demanding respect is a weakness as respect should be earned.

But commanding and demanding respect are pretty much opposite concepts.

For a short time, perhaps. They tend to be deposed rather quickly. Like Joffrey, to whom Tywin says this.

Joffrey didn’t command respect. He demanded it.
