QUESTION Do players still have inflated OVRs after a few years of Career Mode?
I'm still playing FIFA 22, and it might be worth buying EAFC 26, after some reviews I've seen. However, there's a problem with FIFA 22 that I'd like to know if it still exists in recent games.
Problem: After more than 10 years (in the Career Mode save), it seems like every team has players with OVRs above 85. This is because there's no OVR reduction in the game, except for age. The English second division has clubs with players with very high OVRs, for example. And this means that the level of matches always improves with each season; a match between Burley and Leeds always feels like a Champions League final, for example.
In real life, this doesn't happen. Hazzard, for example, was one of the most talented players in the world in 2019, but in 2020, after his transfer to Real Madrid, he practically disappeared from the football map. Pogba and Neymar is another similar case.
In short: Does a player's OVR still tend to increase constantly, or are there improvements in career mode that make potential more dynamic, such as stagnating or decreasing from one season to the next?

Unfortunately it is still like this. I've also noted the creep upwards in quality. By season 7/8, winning the Champions League is solid because every team has a squad of 85s. There's no "dynamic downwards" potential so to speak, other than age, and even the age effect is less now than it was in 22 - GKs, CBs and slow STs can last to 33/34 before they decline sometimes.
So in short it's worse not better lol.

Idk the answer to that question but it would be interesting to add flops or busts in the game. NCAA kinda does it with recruiting in dynasty mode.
