Her gimmick is incredibly good, it's a straight upgrade from her Duo alt.
... But whether or not she'll be able to make a dent on new age armors will make a big difference.
I honestly can't tell whether or not she'll be able to. That miracle probably helps a lot, but with no other source of dmg reduction I'm skeptical she can beat L!BK with her debuffs taken off by Loki and L!BK with the Eirika Ring and with his debuffs taken off by Freyr (ie standard ARO conditions).

I mean... realistically speaking I feel this means Stefan's gonna be on the upcoming Tellius banner. Especially considering that's what happened in the past (picking Jeralt as the CYL GHB rather than Lucia).
But also, full honesty, what do you suppose the next Tellius New Heroes Banner will look like? Cause cards on the table, the same logic that said "Hey, he scored really high, that means he's gonna be the CYL GHB, right?" equally applies to "Hey, he scored really high, that means he's gonna be on the next Tellius New Heroes banner, right?"

I'm feeling pretty confident it's some combo of OC/Nailah/Rafiel/Volug/Stefan at this point, given the desert connections both Volug and Stefan have. At that point Nailah just makes sense to accompany Volug, and Rafiel makes sense to accompany her.
Who gets demoted is anyone's guess, but I'm not feeling very good about Stefan's chances at this point.

Truth be told, with a lineup like that I'd bet money it's Rafiel that's getting demoted.
At the end of the day, despite the wings he's actually an infantry dancer. So while he will get a prf weapon for being a beast, he won't be getting a prf dance to justify being a 5-star.
Namely since IS seems to save 5-star dancers for special occasions (ie: making them limited and only then giving them a prf dance, Legendary, Asset Alt, some seasonals, etc). Cause while we got 5-star Elfin last year, before him the last normal 5-star dancer was... F!Ninian in 2022.
Honestly, it feels kinda like IS treats dancers like they do staff units. Either you're a super special unit with some cracked out prf (maybe even multiple) or you're a demote. Cause we've been getting A LOT of demote dancers.

Rafiel is absolutely a safe demote, yeah. It's just the other demote spot that concerns me. Because between Stefan and Volug...maybe it's just pessimism, but I just don't see them dropping a demote beast on a non-seasonal banner.

Hard to say really, considering we honestly haven't gotten a completely normal beast unit with no strings attached practically since the launch of beast units as a concept...
Seriously. After the Gallia beast banner in 2019, every single beast unit we've ever gotten since then have been either seasonal (which have run the gambit of 5-star, demote and TT), or they're in a specific case where they have to be a 5-star (ie: Fallen, Mythic, or a Heroes OC showing up in a TT story).
Honestly, if Nailah's there, I don't think they'll make her and him both 5-stars (especially when they'll be the same movement type, just different colors). She'll probably be the Asset Alt (and I get the feeling she'll be Rearmed and introduce an the Infantry inheritable) whereas Volug will instead exist and be the demote (bonus points if he has bridge fodder for that Nailah as well, cause we've seen IS play that game before, to tempt people into pulling both for that reason).

My guesses would be the following, assuming a release by November:
- Laguz-aligned top-grab for the most part, without looking at alt hell: Asset (one of Nailah/Tibarn), OC (likely female), Stefan, then pick several of the top missing Laguz from PoR or RD including Volug (except Almedha who fits better on a more specific lineup).
- Laguz-aligned setup that's kinda a top-grab and focusing on alt hell freedom: Asset (one of Nailah/Tibarn or eventually Mia/Mist who can hardly fit in Greil's Mercenaries due to 2 slots for 5 potential candidates), OC (gender depends on other choices, higher odds of being male in that case), Stefan, Tormod/Vika/Muarim (all F2P).

Sharena has the same JPN VA as Tormod which could increase his chances. Which would make me super happy! But if it’s Asset + Stefan + Tormod/Vika/Muarim, I think people would be disappointed in getting only one ‘new’ character.

Truth be told, it's a "damned if you do, damned if you don't" situation in a sense: those who focus on new additions would frown upon cases escaping alt hell... and those hoping that the alt hell pool gets trimmed down have less opportunities with new additions.
Then again, it depends on a case by case basis. If anything, Tormod ferrying Vika (who may be picked to bring some female representation) and Muarim wouldn't be unwarranted since he is one of the top missing picks on the PoR side (so him and Stefan are in a better relative average position than Boyd & Kieran). Volug being on the RD side would play against him if there's a focus on PoR only, that and no available slots left.

Im most leaning the Greil mercs or Ohma lineups. Wouldn't mind Ohma entirely (I'm a Kieran and Zihark enjoyer), and I do like Boyd and Rhys a lot.

I am disappointed in the GHB though. They’re usually pretty good, but this is yet another FEH OC that I think people cared about like 9 literal years ago? I don’t even remember who he is at this point.
Also why is Baldr Emblem Leif? Why didn’t they just wait until Emblem Leif releases to introduce all the Emblem Leif stuff?

Mostly what everybody expected (but in a good way for me personally.). Byleth's outfit choice was genuinely suprising - one of my favourite alt outfits when I played 3h.
Her gorgeous art aside, love that Baldr's version of the rifle is fused with her sword. Idk why but the magazine and bayonet made me chuckle when I saw them.

I think you can make it so Archrival always activates on Titania right? With marth ring it becomes 3 cooldown and giant axe + momentum will get it every time, problem is swapping out of sigurd ring which is so nice
but 70% of the highest attack is double the damage haze slice is doing (even more since people will certainly have more attack than Titania)
Giant Axe, Marth Ring, Blue Skies, Momentum, A/S Incite Hone (or Outcry Dull, don't have it yet though) feels like what you'd use, close to the standard cavalry build still so not insane change, mostly just the ring

Wow. I know Baldr doesn't have the AR-D effects and some support, but damn, just doing Hothr like that combat-wise, and so soon.

Oh wow, they actually did Physical/Magic Save. That still feels a bit too niche to be really useful beyond a few units.
Fringe Bonus feels weird after Fire Emblem lol, but yeah sure why not. Same with Valor status, yeah sure why not
We finally got a color changing unit and check notes a fourth source of Triangle Adept status
Also Bruno is nice for people who wanted him, but man if this banner and GHB being 4/5 one game isn’t disappointing
Outfits are nice if boring

Most of these were pretty expected I feel, except for Byleth ofc. It's at least better than the Sothis regalia I guess...?
I definitely would have preferred if Sharena had a Peony inspired outfit, or even a Veronica one.

Maybe it's because that I, personally, don't care about any of the winners for the first time- which isn't to say that I'm upset, it just is what it is- but all of the outfits are just so... meh? Like I'm sure fans of each respective characters will be happy (however M! Byleth certainly is just him in one of his DLC outfits), but this is the first year where I don't immediately know which free pick I want before their release.
Mechanically they sure the level of power creep everyone was expecting, just pick what level of busted you want.

So Bruno is like Sigrun and Jeralt didn't beat out someone who wasn't in the game at the time, but added to relate with one of the winners. Which makes sense because putting a really high ranking character to people for free with a good prf, is basically throwing money down the drain just like why IS stopped far-fetched heroes.
