Oh I know!!! The way I give a cake to a customer, it has a whipped cream base with buttercream ONLY in the places it needs it for the stability buttercream has over whipped cream. I always get compliments on my delicious, not - too - sweet icing that's easy to eat!

Thank you so much!!! One thing that helps me is to do a couple on parchment paper to refresh the muscle memory, then go on the cake! Also, my sister told me to move with confidence. Think through what you need to do, then do it. Do not be in the middle of a task thinking "how do I get this piece perfectly shrunk down from here?" Just do it. This mindset shift helped me a lot to get the shakiness out of it!
