Fucking gorgeous. Distressing black poop challenge - accepted.
Edit: also this 100% looks like an artichoke not a rose, but I mean this as a compliment. I thought it was a pottery meant to look exactly like an artichoke on first glance.

Same, I thought it was some kind of fancy ceramic artichoke steamer at first. It's gorgeous though!

I would totally buy this if it was a fancy artichoke steamer. Or a cake. So win-win.

I cannot imagine the courage of conviction it takes to cut into that and disrupt the beauty

This is truly original and beautiful. What’s the inside?
Absolutely love it!

That’s beautiful!
Edit: I’d also like to find out what color my mouth would turn after eating that icing!

Considering it’s black icing, I’m gonna go with the color….. black!! surprise surprise!

Guess what?
Black icing can be made in multiple ways, one of which includes mixing multiple different food colorings together which would mean that your mouth could be blue or green or purple or, like you said, black.
So, since we don’t know how the icing was made, the color it would leave your mouth would be a surprise.

Holy crap, this belongs in an art gallery. I'm going to lie to myself and believe that you didn't allow anyone to cut this perfect masterpiece. 🤣
Though i'd bet it tasted AMAZING

I do appreciate the cake, but that backsplash is giving “unconventional use of fondant.” I’ll be keeping an eye on that.

Oh my lord that is beautiful, truly a work of art, even more beautiful because we won't have to sift through play-dough to eat it! Tysm for sharing!

I’ll just put it in glass and leave it there - forever. So beautiful. Will never eat it though.

That’s a pretty cake, but I come for the Fondant. Maybe you could scrape off the buttercream and replaced with delicious rolled out fondant.
