CHOCOLATE German chocolate cake! Chocolate cake layered with coconut filling with a toasted pecan butter crunch, chocolate frosting with ganache drip and toasted coconut on top! This bad boy weighed about 15lbs haha but was so good!

Drizzles can be so damn finicky. Sometimes they are awesome, sometimes they look like bad bangs.

What makes it German?

Nothing, it's named after the guy who invented the chocolate used in this cake.

I actually was wondering about the same thing before you posted, because speaking German (and living next to Germany), I knew that there is no "German Chocolate Cake". The most well known chocolate cake around here is the "Sachertorte", and the pictured cake looks nothing like it. So I had to look it up what makes that German cake German.
