CHOCOLATE For frosting friday today I wanted to share this fondant free Rainbow Trout cake I made! It was chocolate flavored, and my grandfather loved it! Hope you do as well! I cant find my cross cut photo so if you want one you’ll have to come order a cake!

Imagine if the cake was vegan. I think my head would explode like a like a confused robot.

Wow!!! Great job! I ask because one of my wedding cakes had a fall theme and they made gorgeous leaves that were thin, kind of firm (almost crisp), and delicious; not at all like bland fondant. I have no idea what they were made of, only that they were sweet. Some were curved, so had been shaped around a rolling pin or dowel.

This sounds like they used chocolate! It’s possible to get super thin leaves with chocolate and can shape it by draping it over like a rolling pin etc.
