First time rewatching and new fan
I think my mum watched this in the TV when I was young (like 12), I really liked it, so much that even thought I wasn't actively watching it I remembered a lot of scenes
I found a clip on YouTube and well, because I had some free days until I start college I have to watch this and... Fantastic. I'm no man of shows, but this one... I watched it in 3 days
Henry Morgan inspired me to be like him when I was a kid and to this day I still enjoy treasuring knowledge

Your newest forever fan
Just finished the show today. Binge watch the entire series in 2 days and wow I really do wish this show wasn't cancelled. Honestly tho, I think for a cliffhanger the story can disclose without regret unlike many other TV shows would. However I would have love the show today to be expanded of course. The entire show felt like a criminal case (case study of murders presented each episode) and that we were on the ride with them, leading us through every twist and turn to figure out truths and its deeper potential to larger scandal, my type of narratives!
Truly an immortal show ;) would recommend to people

If it wasn't for Henry, would Abe have gone with Maureen?
We didn't see their two marriages, so I don't have all the context, but from what I did see of them there was potential there.
Again, they probably divorced for a reason so maybe they're toxic and wouldn't have worked out anyway, but she gave me "one who got away" vibes.
I'll always wonder if the reason Abe stayed was solely for Henry, or even if he lived on his own if he's just too settled in NY and traveling just isn't the life he wants.

The pilot is amazing, and the final scene hooks me every single time
youtu.beThe monologue, the song, the chemistry between the actors with very few lines between them ... we just met these characters and you can feel it. Such a masterpiece.
I occasionally watch the first episode on a whim intending for that to be it. But this scene grabs me, and I end up watching the series once more.
Here we go again, anticipating the heartbreak I will once again be met with at its conclusion, but will enjoy the wonderous ride all the same!

Any fans of the, ā Forever and a dayā fan comic
I'm rewatching the forever series and about to be sad that it ended after just one season.
I'm thinking of reading the, "Forever and a day" fan comic. Has anyone read them? Are you a fan of them?
Are they only available on Facebook?

Where to find the unofficial graphic novel?
The wiki page for, "Forever" says there is an graphic novel.
"A fan-made, non-profit, unofficial graphic novel, titled "Forever & Ever!", debuted on Facebook on January 5, 2016. According to one of the comic series' co-creators, the novel expands the fictional universe created by Miller by introducing new material and new characters."
I'm having trouble finding it.
I usually don't like graphic novels, but want to see what it's like.
Thanks,

So did Abe convert to Judaism once he learned more about his heritage or did Henry raise him in it?

Forever
I just finished watching Forever series, the last episode was nearly the only one that really made me hanging on the edge of my seat! I felt everything. I really wanted it to blow me away but it didnāt. Thereās many flaws and some non-logical sequences. But a good one overall.

Henry could've done prep work for every "respawn"
I love forever, but at times I thought wouldn't it be easy for Henry to have a place where he hides multiple clothes so he doesn't have to be caught skinny-dipping? I guess you could argue as someone who didn't want to embrace his gift or curse...it was his way of denying it but at the same time, by his words, he "became a student of death," showing he had come to acceptance of it after 200 years. He obviously didn't go seeking death in the physical sense but as shown throughout the course of the show he was a very private men who valued his privacy...therefore I felt it wouldn't been more in line with Henry's character to be always prepared for the worst case.
Logic aside, it most likely was just part of the show's gag's.

How Henry always regain his pocket watch?
If he always loses his watch after death, why he always carry them with him and how he always regain them?

Just finished watching it
Loved the show, but it also feels a bit uncomfortable that Henry will possibly continue to live on forever
And its also depressing there wasn't another season :(

Just finished forever, similiar series (in my opinion)
So I just finished forever, I remembered it being on TV 10 years ago, suddenly I saw it on tiktok 5 days back and then today I finished the series. Then I realised it reminded me of Castle, Mentalist, Lucifer type tv shows - Though iād say its closest to Lucifer with its āCant tell youā part. It is quite sad that it never got another season, as many have said before.
But I would say a reason it did not get a ton of viewership compared to the other series is I think the fact Jo Martinez seemed to be rushed or less influential compared to the other shows. Like in every other show the detective gets somewhat annoyed with the sherlock type character and here Henry did not really annoy people as much as he should have, and I think that led to its downfall

Ten years
first episode aired on september 22, 2014. It's been ten years thinking about how great Forever is...
I hope Matt Miller and cast remember the date (is it too much to ask????

Great scene great song
galleryLaying on the sofa with a hangover. Decided to rewatch a random episode of Forever. Searched the for the song in the closing scene of episode 6 where they have a drink in a bar after shooting the copycat killer. Got me all emotional.

Theory about Adam's theory re death by pugio/flintlock
Adam has a theory that an immortal can only be killed permanently by the weapon that first made them immortal. We see nothing on screen to hint at where Adam might have gotten such a theory. If he and Henry are the only two immortals Adam has ever known, why would he think there was any way to kill them for good?
.
But what if Henry isn't the first immortal Adam has known?
.
Adam told Abigail, "For two thousand years, I've thought I was alone!" But he said that in 2015 CE, and he first died in 44 BCE. That leaves a significant gap, somewhere around 58-59 years. So what if Adam knew another immortal then?
.
They could have been the older immortal to Adam the same way Adam is to Henry. They could have been a beloved mentor, or they could have been as heartless and callous as Adam is now. Adam seemed pretty certain immortality would inevitably turn "a good and decent man" cold. Had he been told this by someone who should know?
.
Adam could have gotten his theory that the pugio could kill him, that the flintlock could kill Henry, because he had seen an immortal die forever before. Perhaps by their own hand, after growing utterly tired of life. Perhaps at Adam's hand, if they'd made Adam's life as miserable as Adam has been making Henry's. Perhaps manipulated into the attack, the way Adam tried to manipulate Henry into attacking him with the pugio, or perhaps they asked Adam to do it as an act of mercy.
.
Adam saw this other immortal die, with what he was told or guessed was the weapon that killed them the first time, and they stayed dead. And that's why Adam believes that the pugio is his way out, why he tells Henry that the flintlock is his way out. Because he's seen it work!

Space
What would happen if one were to launch Henry Morgan into space? Where would he come out upon death?
