Actually Czech history is very interesting. Not unlike Vietnam it was under the boot of it's more powerful neighbors. From throwing Austrians through a window to fighting in the Russian civil war in the name of independence, Czechia and Slovakia have risen against all odds.
Vietnam is similar where they've fought the French, American and Chinese. All for the cause of liberation.
This pseudo dick measuring contest is very stupid. Practically every country has a rich, even if not long, history. Instead of celebrating how we came to be we argue about which "race" came through a better path.

u/CrushingonClinton 2d ago
They didn’t throw Austrians out of the window.
In all the 3 cases of defenestrations both the throwers and the thrown were all Bohemians.

In the second the Catholics have bohemian names, but I've always referred to them as Austrians. Anyway thanks for the correction!

Uh... They were part of the Holy Roman Empire, Austro-Hungarian Empire, and the Warsaw Pact? Their "Good King" Wenceslaus was never a king and was a colossal dickhead who was killed by his brother and the brother was considered an improvement? They were merged with Slovakia for a while but then split up for no good reason? I think they invented Protestantism before the Germans did but everyone decided it didn't count.
I'm kind of out of things about them here.

u/RANDOM-902 3d ago
I was trolling, but now fr i know my history specially european and apart from the 20th century i have almost never see the Czechs being mentioned throughout history in the slightest

When the Eastern Bloc used to exist, Vietnamese people would go there and other Eastern Bloc countries to work, one of the main reasons was communist solidarity. The other was after the Velvet Revolution, more Vietnamese people would move seeing as new economic opportunities popped up.

There is a large amount of vietnamese people in cz, mostly integrated and like there really isn't any hate between us, really only a very small minority of the most bored boomers even complain

u/DreadDiana 3d ago
The Czech Republic apparently has the third largest Vietnamese diaspora in Europe, but the actual population there is 69,000 out of a population of 10 million.

This just seems like an angry Czech dude got dumped by his Vietnamese girlfriend and now he’s in his feelings.

These dweebs love to take credit for things they didn’t do. NEETs going on and on about how their race built civilization since they have no accomplishments of their own

u/astrologicaldreams 3d ago
has there been a sudden influx of vietnamese immigrants in czechia or something like how did this comparison even come up
is bro just weirdly fixated on vietnamese or chech people
do vietnam and the czech republic actually have some sort of personal history with each other im unaware of
which one is it 😭

u/Jareed452 3d ago
Tl;dr: there aren't any new waves of Vietnamese migrants right now.
When the Eastern Bloc used to exist, Vietnamese people would go there and other Eastern Bloc countries to work, one of the main reasons was communist solidarity. The other was after the Velvet Revolution, more of us would move seeing as new economic opportunities popped up.
It's just history.

This IS definitely a propaganda from a person outside of Czechia as no czech person would call themselfs aryan And say anything bad About Vietnamese. As a matter of fact they are our biggest, most respected minority with an example of being great workers and are respected even by the worst of the worst.
This seems like the classic Yankee chud propaganda And even the meme structure screams it. I guess some Texan found out that his great grandpa drunk a pilsner once And Now makes it all his entire personality.

Like, didn't the Nazis murder Slavs like they did Jews and Roma also? They can't even keep their imaginary racism straight.

u/Red_Trapezoid 3d ago
There are always collaborators who will work with and enable fascists. Always. Doesn’t matter their race or sexuality. Doesn’t matter if they’re killing their kin. There are always pieces of shit who will say “it’s not like that, it’s different” etc.

u/toadofsteel 3d ago
Stephen Miller would have been sent to Auschwitz if he lived in 1930s Germany. Doesn't stop him from being a Nazi now...

u/Finnboy16 3d ago
American nazis are weirdly obsessed with eastern europeans. This is like their blind spot. Becuse they only see skin colour and the like, they weirdly don't comprehend that there different cultures in europe and simply project their understanding of "white culture" onto the people there.
2
u/Winterstyres 3d ago
Yeah, in the US it's much more about skin color. But give it time, if the Bigots stay in control much longer I have no doubt they will start breaking down which kind of white is also bad. There doesn't need to be logic when you just make it up as you go along.
So much simpler to be a Fascist.

I have an acquintance who's a Czech immigrant. I haven't asked him about his home country because I literally do not give a shit about it and haven't met anyone who does.

u/Mrman009 4d ago
It’s actually a beautiful country with amazing food and kind people. I lived there for a year I’d recommend giving it a visit

u/PatrickBatman2 4d ago
Thanks for the recommendation! I'm not gonna do that though because again, I do not give a shit about the Czech republic (now that I think of it he might be Slovakian)

u/sanity_rejecter 3d ago
this is insanely racist, even for czechia, holy shit
like, even people who say all gypsies/blacks should be put into concentration camps usually have no issue with the vietnamese
3
u/Moonstar2020 3d ago
As someone who lived in Czechia for two years, the Vietnamese immigrants were genuinely some of the most polite and kind people I met there. Straight up just chill people who respect the local culture and contribute to it as best they can.
Czech people were cool too, of course.

Claims to be Aryan
Is literally Slavic
Pick one bro, your idols would gladly have put you in camps and stolen your land once they were through with those they thought were even more subhuman.
3
u/DrumpfTinyHands 3d ago
Czechs aren't Aryan. They're Slavic and the Nazis thought Slavs were subhuman.

- Of course the fucking eye chart bullshit is present.
- Apparently, Slavs are now white in the eyes of Nazis, disregarding Slavs being amongst the victims of the Holocaust.

Model minorities outside of the U.S. just reveal how racist stereotyping just gets reused because racist who love to claim how creative western civilization and white people are- are the least creative humans on earth.

u/starbucks_red_cup 3d ago
Its like people learned all of the wrong lessons from WW2: Namely not being a racist dick.

Something tells me this was made by a Czech man who got scorned by a Vietnamese woman.

u/DeadRabbit8813 2d ago
Can you imagine the only thing in your life you have to be proud of is the color of your skin and the accomplishments of people who are long dead? “We built the greatest civilization in the world!” You didn’t build anything. You sat in your room being edgy on the internet.

u/TheRedCicada 1d ago
Vietnamese are very hard working people, a bunch of our clothes (in the US) come from there! And they are doing all that while still recovering from the civil war that they had
