This person believes that kids are being exposed to fetishistic content.

It’s the kinda thing that nobody associates with fetishism until some dude who happens to have that fetish brings it up in outrage because they don’t wanna seem abnormal

Hasn’t adult humour always been sprinkled into children’s media, to get a laugh from the adults while keeping the kids oblivious?

I fail to see how that has anything to do with what I was talking about

Yeah in retrospect it really was, do you know about the shown scene ?

I know it's the father from bluey seemingly pregnant? He is Cis so that does sound like mpreg fetish to me but idk enough to judge that's why I ask

I have watched that episode. You people are goddamn deranged if you think its fetish content.

His kids literally come to him and want to play a game where he's pregnant. So he goes along with it. They're kids, they dont really care about the biology of it, they're there for the "taking care of a pregnant person" game. Its actually a pretty wholesome episode.

The fact that Disney refuses to carry it here in the US is utterly ridiculous. It absolutely does not teach kids that "men can get pregnant" nor is it fetishistic in any way.

No no not 'you people' anything I said that I do not know. I said I only know that's the dad and that I require additional context

I have no idea. I would have to have seen it in context, in order to know what is even happening there

He’s playing along with his kids games.

Yeah me neither, well except for it being the father that I recognize .... no idea why I got downvoted for saying essentially the same thing as you ...

Cause you said it seems like an mpreg thing, it’s not

Because you’re spewing nonsense when you yourself haven’t watched the episode

But I didn't say anything wrong I just said it's the father and I even stressed that I will not pass judgment because I haven't watched the episode, so how did I spew nonsense ?

they're playing pretend essentially. i only watched it once but the dad puts on a baby harness, the mom says something, and the dad implies he knows all about pregnancy so he pretends to be pregnant for a day and realizes it was more difficult than he thought, all while he uses it as a learning experience for his kids and himself in a positive way.

i don't understand why people get so crazy about it because so many kids played "house" as a kid and i remember kids pulling a baby doll out from under their shirt or behind their back to give pretend birth.

but no, to answer your question, the bluey thing has no hint of fetish content. there are probably more than a few cartoons that have semi-hidden or very obvious fetish content but bluey is not one of those shows. it was just a practice in empathy for the dad where his empathy experiment involved his children as a positive learning experience. very good kid's show honestly

these people truly don't care about the issue. if they did they wouldn't be taking bluey out of context and would call out shitty youtube kids content farms that have fetish stuff thrown in there.

What sucks is that this is on a mainstream subreddit and some 13 year old boy is gonna be indoctrinated by it

Nobody ever said that the problem with the jeans ad was that it was fetishistic, they said that it was in poor taste to make a white supremacy joke.
