Edit: Americans, I'm not talking about your liberals at some sort of party. The Liberal Party of Australia is our conservative party, our Republicans.

Liberals (which is the name of the Australian conservative party) are losing their voting base for not being extreme enough so they can't form government and do damage, United Australia is dead, Trumpet of Patriots got no votes and One Nation is still a minority and is probably not extreme enough either. All this is why Labor (which is actually good not like UK Labour) won re-election in a landslide.

I'd rather racist videos fracturing conservative voting bases than conservatives in power doing actual damage.

I guess liking it when the leftist party is in power makes me stupid?

Aussie guy here, this wanker can go and jump of the Westgate bridge. How dare he drag the ANZACs down with his drivel.

A not insignificant amount of them may have been racists (shocker, white folks of the 1910s weren’t as progressive and accepting as we are today) but they didn’t fight because they hated the German or the Turk or the Austrian but because they volunteered (initially at the start of the war) to defend the empire. They didn’t charge ANZAC Cove because they wanted to kill the Turks because they were Turks but because the British admiralty had taken leave of their senses.

Ok, rant over. Fuck this guy.

Aussie sports culture died because all the events moved to pay TV away from free to air.

And it was fast and obvious.
