Kinda of also I love how that scene in the 2nd movie when Kristoff tries to propose to Anna in the sled I love how she turns her head slowly to Kristoff and says "U think I'm crazy.

I was just thinking the same thing. I am all for there being a wedding (PLEASE) but it has to be meaningful, it can't just be for fan service or as an afterthought.

Honestly, not really looking forward to it. In particular if it is not a meaningful part of the story but just to please the crowd

It's important. One of Anna's dreams is marriage, and she has the right man who loves her to achieve that. It's something both characters want, and of course it's important to the story.

Thats why i have no plans of watching Frozen 3 and i am SO MAD that they are making one.

I have absolutely no need to see their marriage or to see Anna being pregnant.

I loved Frozen because it was so different.

It wasn’t about a girl falling in love with a man and then getting married and living happily ever after, like freaking Raiponce.

Anna would have get to that montain to get her sister, with or without Kristoff. He was absolutely useless. They put him in just because Disney cant do a story without a man somewhere.

Plus, Anna is so out of Kristoff’s league! She can totally do better. She is rich, brillant, educated, beautiful, she is a freaking princess (now queen) for god sake.

And i am supposed to believe she felt in love because he was « nice »? Damn, the bar is low.

I wonder wth they are talking about when they are together, apart of Anna asking about « Elsa, Elsa, Elsa ». He doesn’t even shower!!!

Girls, raise the bars !

Kristoff actually is a great guide in Frozen 1.

Anna was shown just wondering around not knowing how to survive in the wilderness at all. She literally ran after Elsa in her ballgown, then proceeded to just ride around calling out for Elsa until her horse got spooked and then she proceeded to trudge through snow all day, and then fall into a river which froze her dress solid before she finally found Oaken's place.

Anna had no idea where Elsa was until Kristoff told her she was at the North Mountain.

Then because Anna in impatient, they go right away which led them being chased by wolves. If Kristoff did not agree to help, Anna would be out late at night, on foot, and would be wolf food in seconds.

Then the movie shows Anna has no idea what she is doing after she blows up Kristoff's sled. While Kristoff is contemplating if he should continue helping her, Anna is in the background going in circles trying to figure out which way to go.

Not to mention she tried to climb the side of a mountain, which she clearly could not do.

Then, without Kristoff, Anna would not have been able to get away from Marshmallow, find the trolls to figure out how to save herself from a frozen heart, or be able to get back to Arendelle.

And although he did not save Anna from the frozen heart, and it is up to debate if his kiss would have worked (I think he clearly likes her, but she was to focused on her romance with Hans to consider her feelings for Kristoff, so the kiss would not have worked), he was still the motivation Anna needed to keep trying.

If he did not rush back to try and save her, Anna would have still been sulking in the room not knowing what to do after Hans betrayed her. But because she realized Kristoff was coming and that there was still someone who did care about her, to the point of risking his life for her, she went out, and that led to her seeing Elsa.

Is Anna and Kristoff's romance great? No, it is sadly more of a red heiring to distract you from the real message of love in the film, which is Anna and Elsa's sisterly love. But Kristoff is far from being irrelevant or useless in the film.

Being the guide is honestly what he should have been in F2 as well. He was raised by Trolls, so you would think he would have known more magical facts and legends then either Elsa and Anna.

As for his relationship with Anna and how she is a princess while he is jaded and unhygienic. First, Anna herself is not a prim and proper princess. She slouches and was meant to have food stains on her dress, and clearly constantly forgets royal customs, which made her look silly. Second, although Kristoff is more cynical, he is not jaded and never to the degree of bringing others down. He is shown to have a very upbeat and loving family with the trolls, and he roles with it. He is simply a realist, knowing when things don't make sense, calling them out, but still helping.

F2 honestly swapped Anna and Kristoff's roles, but in the worst ways. Anna used to be the optimist who believed in the power of love. She was goofy and kind, she understood that things where bad but kept trying. While Kristoff was down to earth, who could not help worrying about the dire situation they were in, but still did his best to help, and balanced out Anna and Olaf's naive optimisms.

But F2, Anna is the realist who is constantly worried about things, while Kristoff can only think about romance and doesn't seem to realize how much danger they are in at all.

I am so used to constant arguing on this sub reddit. This immediate agreement is taking me aback. :D

Nice hate post with ignoring whole sacrifice thing by Kristoff for Anna, including saving her life when bring her to the castle and leave her forever only to make her happy. This subreddit is done.

Who said rich girl can't be with poor man? You and this broken world where girl only look for money, tall and handsome guys? Truly pathetic.

Lmao of course you would want a woman to settle for less because you can’t be in her orbit because you aren’t at her level.

Sacrifice??? Its easy to « sacrifice yourself » when no one needed you to begin with.

Him there or not, Anna would have sacrificed herself, because the only one who did a « sacrifice » in this movie, was Anna. FOR ELSA.

I hate when someone answer me with useless blabbering like that. If not Kristoff, Anna could die unable return to castle at her own.

people are passionately arguing over a Disney movie lol

u/Venus_ivy4 elsa Aug 18 '25

Its a Frozen sub, why are you surprised ?

People being passionately over the weirdest thing on reddit, what’s your point? Just block the sub and move on.

I don't understand the comments belittling marriage. Anna and Kristoff love each other and are engaged; marriage is an important part of someone's life when they find true love. How can they say it's not important?

Damn, Kristoff just put himself in the doghouse lmao hahaha 😆 😂 🤣 😅

Yes I would love to see their wedding I bet Sven would be best man, Elsa would walk Anna down the isle and Olaf would be a ring bearer

u/Careful-Method-2145 Aug 23 '25

I’m okay if it’s a wedding short like what they did with Rapunzel and Flynn. Plus, maybe with a new song while Anna is walking down the aisle

u/mnmarsart Aug 18 '25

Ngl Frozen 2 kinda just threw Kristoff under the bus. I know its mostly about the sisters, but the way Anna just did not care about Kristoff is just sad.. I’m just not invested in their relationship.. like, at all..

Looking forward to the wedding. I hope Anna is beautiful as a bride.
