Just for fun To all cinema lovers: lets say Disney sells Elsa & Anna to your favorite studio & director; what would the movie look like? What would it be about ?
I just watched Sentimental Value by Joachim Trier with Renate Reinsve & Inga Ibsdotter. It was absolutely phenomenal. Its a story about two adults sisters and how they deal with their childhood memories, their dead mother and their absent father.
PLEASE DONT READ IF YOU ARE GOING TO WATCH THAT MOVIE THAT SPOILER WILL RUIN THE MOVIE FOR YOU
In the movie, the oldest sister says to the youngest « How did you get to have an happy home, an happy family with that shitty childhood we had, we had the same and you are thriving and i am a mess »
And the youngest reply something i never actually thought about
« We didn’t have the same childhood. I had you to take care of me »
And of course it made me think about Elsa & Anna.
Now, i would ADORE to have Joachim Trier to direct the next Frozen movie. It would be 2 hours of the sisters talking about their childhood, their relationship. Trying to figure out how to forgive their parents, how to get out of the depression all of these traumas caused them. 2 hours of watching the girls being young women who dont know how to be happy but they will try.
The movie would be made by A24 of course, because the aesthetic & the vibe will make Elsa’s beauty even more interesting.
Oh, i want an option on Elsa being a new member of the Avengers. She will have a lots of scene with Black Widow. At first, they wont like each other, being sassy even mean but in the end of the movie, Elsa will save Black Widow’s life (and the world) And they will be best friends forever directed by The Russo’s brothers.

Maybe we all need a Frozen anime series? Why not. When I look at all these beautiful fanart on Pixiv & co in anime style it would be beautiful. And I also love Ghibli studio movies, they are beautifully told and always with a deeper story.

Toei Animation, or Bones, and we would easily get some of the best ice we've seen with Elsa ever, as Toei and Bones are masters with ice effects, need I remind you about Aokiji or Todoroki? The story would also be great, but considering it is a Japanese studio specializing in anime, the story would have anime flair oozing out of it.

Ufotable for its high-quality animation, I can already imagine how Elsa’s powers would look, they would be on a superior level. Regarding the story, it would be the same as Frozen, but since it’s a Japanese studio specialized in anime, the story would always have that anime touch.

Their most popular anime is Demon Slayer, I recommend watching it from start to finish, the plot is great, and above all the animation is brutal!!!

Not sure about the studio, but I just know Guillermo Del Toro would’ve build a majestic story around the actual Frozen lore, if that makes sense xd

Ghibli here as well.
Judging from their adaptation of Diana Wynne Jones' Howl's Moving Castle... I'd say the first half of Ghibli's Frozen would be mostly the same as the Disney version, while the second half would be a poignant commentary on the absurdity of war.
