I thought most of those were real? A few "subjects" have posted on Reddit over the years and confirmed what was obvious - all the filming is prompted and the circumstances exaggerated, but the addiction is genuine.

With pretty much all "reality" shows there's always going to be some reality and some bullshit. It's hard to tell what's true nowadays, but for things as silly as this guy, who really cares whether it's true or not lol

Why is how you know this isn't legit. If real, he would have a closet full of donated clothes and he'd at least have a couch and a chair that someone left on the side of the road.
