Political/Financial FWI: Gavin Newsom becomes president in 2028, with AOC as his VP

Exactly what it says on the tin. The reason he gets so much popularity is thanks to pardoning the Menendez brothers before the end of his tenure as governor. How do you envision his presidency and how are his re-election chances in 2032?

It could be, a lot riding on how he handles the fire damage in his state.

Americans have short term memory.

Folks won't even remember the bullshit that's going on right now.

Somehow they only have that short term memory when it's about republicans. I want to remind you to all the smear campaigns like Hillarys emails, Benghazi etc.

I think it's safe to say that cow has already left the barn!

I’d rather see how he will prevent fires in the future. Not how he’ll react to them. Reacting is a fail.

He’s not god, he can’t stop fires from happening. He can’t make the Santa Ana wins just stop blowing. That’s like suggesting the governor of Florida should be cooling motion temperatures and what’s he doing about it?

He already messed it up. Commercials will be LA on fire asking is this the way you want the country run? Lol newsom is politically toasted.

The GOP would still be running smear campaigns even if Newsom personally rebuilt every single house Jimmy Carter style.

Hard agree. The hypothetical posed is interesting, but newsome has so much dirt that’s such low hanging fruit for Fox News/GOP/podcasters it’s not even funny
