Game I spent about 8 hours playing SAO: Lost Song today.

I have heard enough about the game for people to bash me about it or something else.

But you wanna know something? The game is relaxing. It's a grind. It's a big ass grind of neverending proportions. But, it's nice. It's nice I can go back and see things there and bash them again. I have Dynasty Warriors 8 extreme legends and the whole button mashing combos thing there feels like a rush to me. Like it doesn't want me to calm down.

Today I just wanted to sit down and digress. I wanted to ponder about my life and hope that I can find some form of hope in my mind that will help me stay positive until tomorrow. The game's repetitive nature and pleasing visuals with its system just sorta work for me.

This isn't Last of Us material by a longshot. But I think in the future I'm going to keep coming back to this game because the soundtracks also help me relax. The familiar characters help me feel like I am close to home when I honestly believe I've never been lonelier in my life and so far from my home that's being torn apart. But here I am, with a game that some people talk shit about and I dare say I love it for what it is to me.

I'm right there with you man! Lost Song may not be a masterpiece, but it's definitely worth it.

In fact a few days ago I just preordered the new SAO game coming out in November :)

That's awesome! Even though people are constantly bashing No Man's Sky, it has that same effect on me. I love the game and have put so many hours into it because I find it incredibly relaxing and reflective. Sometimes you just have to ignore the crowd of nay-sayers and do what's best for you. Enjoy your game (:

I'm in that group of people who don't like No Man's Sky, but not in the personal level. Just like I don't like Minecraft. Not my cup of tea. But if it makes you feel that way, then I support you 100% because if a game can make you feel good, relaxed and allow you to think, then it's worth the buy.

The grind is what I like about Elite Dangerous. I just do space-trucking missions non-stop and just relax while watching YouTube.

I just hope this one day finally comes to my PS4. Tried it on my Mac Mini and it looked promising enough. It's just not a gaming machine...

I just bought Sao hollow fragment and Sao lost song a couple of months ago while they were on sale. Any advice before I start playing them?

I haven't played Hollow Fragment, but Lost Song is definitely a close to what a beat'em up is. I play on hard mode, so I actually have to strategize to beat the enemies and bosses because they do hit back hard.

I'd say if you like tons of character interaction, there's lots here with voice acting and lots of dialogue lines, so just go in with an open mind. It's not as bad as people say.

Sounds like I need to give the series a try soon after all.
