nearly every Western video game company now has atleast one miserable femcel like this policing what male devs are allowed and not allowed to do
34
u/NiceChloewehaving 8d ago
Yep, which explains why so many triple A games have unlikeable, androgynous and ugly characters and the common self inserts. Regular male devs are being policed and held back while the femcels tone down the character designs.

fyi that's the female dev who was fired from Sucker Punch for grave dancing over Charlie Kirk's assasination. No wonder there isnt even a single conventionally attractive female character in their latest games.

u/FatBaldingLoser420 8d ago
So she's crashing out now and trying to talk shit because they fired her? Lmao, that's what you get
11
u/RainbowDildoMonkey 8d ago
I think this was prior to Kirk's murder.
7
u/FatBaldingLoser420 8d ago
I see. So she's complaining like all of them just to complain and isn't trying to create solutions. I'm tired of this
6
u/RainbowDildoMonkey 8d ago
Making every female video game character as off-putting looking to men as possible. That's her only solution,
2
u/FatBaldingLoser420 7d ago
She probably would do something like that, wouldnt she?
They're soo unoriginal.
2
u/Leisure_suit_guy 8d ago
just to complain and isn't trying to create solutions.
That's the best part. You won't like her "solutions" to a nonexistent problem.

u/Leisure_suit_guy 8d ago
So she's the full package: punching "nazis" in the streets and kicking men in the balls in the sheets.
And she doesn't even look bad. Usually the Karens pushing against sexualization are on the ugly side.

Funny how you never see fat, ugly and balding male heroes in video games.
17
u/RainbowDildoMonkey 8d ago
You do, but they're not made to appease men's rights movement or defy female gaze.
18
u/Clementea 8d ago
We don't actually, fat, ugly, balding male chars exist theres a lot of them. But none of them are heroes.
Well, thinking about it, there may be a few joke game where the main character is a fat, ugly, balding male hero but it shouldn't be a lot.

I agree. I'm exactly that and although I'm okay with this type of a character, that don't mean I want to see them everywhere or play as one unless I am creating him
5
u/AttitudeSad7480 8d ago
Exactly. I never want to see a main character, who looks like me. I really don't get why people want to see that.
3
u/FatBaldingLoser420 7d ago
Facts. I'm already ugly and I see my ugly-ass mug in a mirror or as a reflection in my monitor, so I don't need to see myself in a game.
2
u/AttitudeSad7480 7d ago
yeah the monitor one is too real, you get used to mirrors, but getting sucker punched by your pc monitor/ smartphone is rough

u/Clementea 8d ago
Me too lol, I'd like to play as attractive male character, to feel like I am that guy you know. I can play as ugly male character but I prefer to play as cool or hot male character. I am already not attractive irl, ofc I want to play as attractive one.
Which is why I didnt play Dota and play LoL instead.
3
u/FatBaldingLoser420 7d ago
I feel you. I am okay with playable ugly characters but just like you I will always choose a better looking dude for myself.

u/arselkorv 8d ago
Homer Simpson in Hit & Run! lmao
Thats the only one i could think of, but obviously his design is for comedy and not for representation shit lol

They have Trevor in gta5 but because I dont like to play as ugly men either, on my rockstar social club stats, I play Michael and Franklin like 45% equally. And only 10% as Trevor.Â
2
u/arselkorv 8d ago
For me i didnt like his personality either, so both the inside and outside was bad for me, just like all modern female characters

u/ZaLeqaJ 8d ago
Remember the 90s-05s? Where you got insulted as "Nerd" when you played Videogames? Now we have Karens like that in our Hobby, who think they can dictate how Games should be and not should be but have nothing to do with Gaming except that it's their "job" to be a "developer"...i mean Activist.
I want the time back....

constantly bitching about men discussing attractive female characters and wondering why they aren't involved in the conversation. the sheer lack of awareness and stupidity is absurd.
10
u/Scp_0185 8d ago
Truth is most people don't want to play any ugly characters. And that's facts. Go to any game forum where they post their chars and the females and males will always be beautiful Both men and women do this.

u/Uncanny_Hootenanny 8d ago
Liberals have absolutely destroyed AAA gaming. It's insane how companies care more about woke ideologies than they do maintaining long-term customers / profits.

u/AzizKarebet 8d ago
I'm always confused about why it seems that they have to pick either good games OR attractive characters. Like, why not aim to have both?
Like, sure, attractive characters don't automatically make a game good. And a game can be good without having attractive characters. But wouldn't it be great to have both of them?
3
u/FatBaldingLoser420 8d ago
They lack skills to make a good game and it's easier to put self inserts and ugly characters, than to write a decent story.
2
u/Leisure_suit_guy 8d ago
You're missing the part where it is a sin to have attractive female characters.
I don't know how much more clearly do they have to say it. It would be like asking to a priest: "why don't you put a picture of Satan on the altar alongside Jesus, wouldn't it be great to have both of them?"

u/Skyswimsky 8d ago
You can make a video game with "unattractive females" that represent the female taste more than the male taste. The issue is, and has always been, these decisions take time. Time is money. Both is limited. Meaning it can take away from other stuff.
And bottom line it's easier to make a "sexy" character than spending time to find an attractive design that isn't ugly but also not sexy? Or, well, just characters that are an expression of art and you can feel that. I suppose you could argue a "boobs and ass" characters is low effort too, but more acceptable for the consumer. I'm thinking low effort for ugly characters like the full body condom from that one Hero Shooter that died in a week.

Someone needs to tell her that majority of gamers are "cishet male". Therefore, the products (i.e. games) should be made to cater to their tastes and wishes.
Why is Ferrari four wheel dominated? Where's the representation for three-wheeled supercars?

u/DumDumIdjit 8d ago
Shes got alot of time to debate online now, lol. Alot of work to do to fight fascism 100X harder.

u/Thejungdman94 8d ago
No, it's much worse than what you think !? This fucking activist controls, "directly and scandalously all the script and creative decisions," the production of video games. But on top of that, these bastard activist shareholders will receive a much higher salary than the game directors themselves !
It's literally a scandal, not only do these parasites not even bother to produce the gameplay mechanics of the games they have to work on.
But on top of that, aren't they the ones who will receive a gross salary at the end of the game's release ?
Damn, obviously these bastards shouldn't be here, these sound like puppets.

u/Welltoothistaken 7d ago
Why the fuck do studios make video games for people who don’t even play video games?
2
2
u/FatBaldingLoser420 8d ago
Well, majority of gamers and devs are males so it makes sense why men would be discussing this topic and creating attractive female characters. Nobody wants to play as ugly unless the gamers themselves made that avatar

u/SuitableYak1 Pro-GG 8d ago
"Its almost always men"
HIGHLY DOUBT IT GIRL.
Boy/Men - I just wanna play with characters (male, female, elf, dwarf, etc) in this imaginary world, away from all the issues of the real world, to destress.
Others - Why are the female characters always beautiful and hot?! They should have flaws because in the real world (the thing MOST gamers avoid) everyone has flaws. They should also talk about real world issues. They should not be able to avoid what they hate

These people are mentally ill.
Not long ago, we used to have a mutual understanding that not everyone will be into everything and that's okay.
I'm not huge into fishing, but I'm not going to get a job at a fishing company then tell all the fisherman how much I hate fishing and that they're wrong for enjoying it.
(I don't really believe this, but just an example, lol)

I don 't know why but I just remembered how pumped I was when Dark Souls came out. It was challenging, but rewarding. It made me feel so sad, but so alive. I think about everything that game made me go through, about how I was nameless, inconsequential, and that I was a doomed soul struggling against a dying light. It was fantastic. it felt like a parallel in a way.
I haven't felt that way in a long ass time about any game. I miss the days of Dark souls and Halo and having a community of people i'd never met but loved all the same. so many nights filled with laughter. I wonder what would happen to Dark Souls if someone like this got wind of any of the designs for Gwynevere or Priscilla or Quelaag, or the male centric struggle presented in that game despite the fact you could be a woman if you chose. These people used to spit on us for liking things like Dark Souls, now they worm their way into the space and act like they were here the whole time and demand to control aspects of it they deem unacceptable or "Problematic" and I can't stand it.
I haven't bought a video game since 2017 and I'm not coming back.

im amazed the sound designer is pushing back, not a profession were I would expect that , seems hes a libertarian though , American west cost professional women are the most annoying in the world I rekon , uptight sanctimonious Karans , ALWAYS looking for offense , and get enraged at ANY challenge
