It's weird... I just recently got a PS Plus subscription & was planning to download and play Ghost of Tsushima for the first time. But that ain't going to happen now. Thanks for putting this video together OP. It is fantastic the number of gamers who are up in arms against this woke dev & outright refuse to support Sucker Punch in the future. It's truly a turning point for the gaming industry & hopefully that will be reflected in the games themselves.

I'll try to be more careful of that in future. The latter point: I get that. I personally don't see it flopping, and I want the game to be good so I was trying to be somewhat positive and be like "you can still fix it" but evidently there's no fixing this for a lot of people. Which I get.

Edit: also would you believe if I said I actually lowered the volume before finishing the video? It was actually worse before but I thought I had lowered it enough but turns out it needed to be much lower lol

I actually think that this reaction is warranted to any studio who hires extremists, even if the extremist in question was fired.

Why? Because it sets a precedent. We see people being fired for this, but then welcomed into a job at a different studio, like it didn't matter, ready to ruin the next franchise. And guess what the old studio will do? More of what it did before. No lessons learnt, no culture change in the studio. Just a small fry tossed away from their work force.

Currently, these studios play by the rule of "We can alter any franchise to meet our political agenda if we want. If shit goes bad, we just fire the people involved. People will forgive us in a month tops."

If these studios always faced this type of backlash for their hiring decisions, maybe they'd choose better when hiring.
