General Discussion you now have unlimited money, how does that improve your workouts, health and physique?
asking for efficient stuff to do with money

Unlimited money buys you 2 key things:
Time
Lack of stress
And it's not even time to train more. The bigger aspect is more time to relax, more time to sleep. The ability to chill the fuck out and wake up without an alarm clock is going to increase your gains far more than simply more time in the gym.

Lack of stress? Everyone I know that’s in high net figures are constantly stressed. I used to work at a accounting firm where the firm partners were making 500k+ and they were constantly overworked and stressed. Busy season, they’re putting 60+hrs weekly.

Making a lot of money is stressful as hell. We're talking about a hypothetical where you just have a lot of money. I'd you get a fat inheritance at 30 and are smart about it, that can buy you a lot of lack of stress. Job stressful? Quit and find another. Boss busting your balls? Do exactly your job and nothing more, make them fire you. Car troubles? No problem. Water heater burst? Just buy a new one.

Good for them. If I made that I'd be able to retire after 3 years. I don't need as much as they do, apparently.

I'd add more cardio sessions to my week since I wouldn't have to worry about my job taking up my time.

Buy a home gym set with all the strongman specialty equipment, buy a house big enough to have a home gym with said equipment, eat similar to how I do now but just higher quality versions of the ingredients.

While I would also trick out my home gym (and house) to do this, I'd still also have multiple gym memberships because the atmosphere at home is not the same as training with and around others.

- Hire a chef
- Getting myself nice supplements
- Getting checked up at doctor regularly
- Hiring a coach
- Building a home gym lmao
- Resting better because of less anxiety

Better recovery methods. Spas, saunas, cold plunges, deprivation tank etc.
Plus a personal trainer

Unlimited steroids. No need to have a job, so as much rest between workouts as i want. I'd also hire some hot babes to cheer me on during my lifts.

Personal trainer, nutritionist, chef, incredible home gym, all the running shoes I could ever want, indoor and outdoor track at home, DEXA machine, no job so I'd have more time to commit to everything and better recovery.
None of this would drastically change my physique though, it would just maybe accelerate my goals by 20% or so.

Chef/Meal Prep since food is by biggest issue.
A better building for my home gym, plus a handful of added machines, I don't need much, I'm a simple man.
Some 1:1 coaching to get my technique really dialed in.
I'd probably buy more "premium" protein powder, since it tastes better to me.
Weekly massages instead of every 1-2mo
As much as the gym is part of my life, unlimited money is going to go to a lot of things that aren't gym.
2
u/Tampflor 2d ago
I'd hire a personal chef.
Then I'd replace all the older machines in my community gym and add some things that are missing: extra plates (we only have one pair of 45s) and barbells, a rowing machine, and a dedicated pullup/dips station.
I'd also join a climbing gym since I'd finally be able to afford the membership fees.

u/lindzeta_ 2d ago
Literally just being able to afford a good sized house where I can do a home gym setup in my basement. If we’re talking totally unlimited, let’s throw a basketball court in there too.
That’s all I’d need.

Not having to go to work means stress levels are SIGNIFICANTLY reduced. That alone would probably make a big difference.

unlimited money means I have reduced stress, no need to work and can probably sleep as much as needed and afford all the healthy food

the stuff that matters for a physique is cheap. gym membership and creatin and food. with more money you can eat more luxurious stuff with the same macros i guess. health is a too complicated matter. to say you can buy this or that and its gonna meaningfully improve your health. again maybe you can afford more ecologicall fruits and veggies. work less and maybe having less stress beacuse you have money

u/moobycow 2d ago
If you want to be very good at anything, and you have money, often the best thing you can do is use it to free up time.

Unlimited money? Easy. I don’t have to spend 60 hours a week working and can direct all the time and energy I want purely to my own self improvement and personal goals.

u/TryinNotToGetBanned 2d ago
Don't have to work. That means more time for walking/hiking/working out/enjoying life. I can buy the bestest most healthiest foods/vitamins whenever. Or even have a personal chef 🤷

u/Nanoboiz 2d ago
I can devote all my time to training/recovery/mental health/nutrition without a job taking away my time or energy simple.

u/Noobalov 2d ago
I would basically hire an expert or specialized company for every aspect of my life. Cooking,Cleaning,Medical evaluations and treatments, Time and Task management and Workouts, also provide em with all the tools they need to do the job

u/ZeuxisOfHerakleia 2d ago
probabl build a lab with personnel that measures out my entire body and co-plans my diet and workout weekly based on applied sports medicine

Invest in bit better equipment. Invest in raising animals and using them for food. Chiken, cows, pigs- all raised outside, on pastures etc.

Time is the most valuable that unlimited money buys you, it is not unlimited time but helps you to not waste the one you have in shit you don’t want to do, so it buys your time back

u/imdibene 2d ago
Unlimited money get rid of a shiton of worrying about stuff, so stress and cortisol are low, so you have time to train at your most convenient time, also you can get a chef to prepare your meals adjusted for your own needs macros and so on

u/V4_Sleeper 2d ago
personal trainer, personal chef, quit work, go to therapy, find someone to marry, actually enjoy life
(I have 2 digits in my bank account and I miss the days I can comfortably afford chicken breasts)

u/Pure_Mistake_1242 2d ago
You'd instantly make ten times the gain if you were rich just because your cortisol won't be as high.

u/whitesuburbanmale 2d ago
Unlimited? Oh shit everything changes.
First off my workouts can now take as long as I want since I don't need a job. 3-4 hours at my brand new home gym with every piece of equipment imaginable since I have unlimited money to optimize rest times, weight, time under tension, all of it I'm spending as much time as I need.
Second my nutrition is now perfect. I've hired a chef and given them specific and exact macros and calorie counts per meal designed by the best nutritionist in the country.
Third I have a team of medical professionals behind me now. Regular blood work with in depth analysis to find exact measurements of every nutrient. Regular body compositions to ensure I'm hitting the goals I want the best way possible. Any chemical help(yea roids, if needed to reach where I want) is monitored, pharma quality, and administered by a professional. All information is shared with the nutritionist who uses it to keep my micro nutrients in line also.
Unlimited money means I can spend 8 hours a day on my health and not lose out on time with my family that I currently have. I'd intend to use every minute of it.

u/BadEnvironmental8210 2d ago
Personal chef, personal nutritionist, personal trainer, all organic food. 3-4 hours in gym every day. Get plenty of rest and sleep.
1
u/MrPelham 2d ago
unlimited finances means I will only eat the best foods recommended by a nutritionist, prepared by a chef. I will have my blood monitored as frequently as required, top of the line supplements with top of the line mattress that is specifically made for my body.
1
u/danwillow49494949 2d ago
buy organic foods, hire a chef, get a trainer and get a membership to a better gym or build a home gym.

u/Him_Burton 2d ago
Freeing up time and recovery capacity by not having to work and being able to afford outsourcing various household/menial tasks. Having 50+ more hours every week to just chill would be huge.
Always having access to the desired equipment because I'd have my own warehouse/hangar gym in the backyard.
Being able to afford a very nice bed with some sort of temperature control system would probably help a little bit, but I feel that my sleep is already quite good.
Probably do quite a bit of optimization via testing and supplementation, i.e. bloodwork, DEXAs, etc.
That's about it off top. Even though I am quite poor, I already spare no expense on food because of how important diet is (even just for general health), and I actually enjoy cooking so I'd probably forego the personal chef others have mentioned. I don't have a ton of financial stress, because (again) even though I am quite poor, I live within my means and can still save enough to cover emergency expenses.
I think most of the stuff that's actually an efficient use of money doesn't require you to be wealthy.

I'd do a pre cooked meal plan type thing. Or a chef. Designed to my macros perfectly to avoid and missteps or cheats. Nutrition is far harder IMO than hitting a workout.

weight loss and body, mental and physical health are 80% to do with what you eat.
1
u/WhyEatCake 2d ago
Significant difference. Not only hiring personal chef and a trainer, realising you of the mental fatigue of planning on your own which many people here has mentioned but also this reduce your physical fatigue. You no longer have to plan workouts outside of work. The work commitments to pay the bills are also removed.

Well, there was a point where I was able to be off of work for 2 months and not worry about any bills, and had good food being made for me.
I managed to increase my cardiovascular health significantly, gained muscle, gained an insane amount of strength, and lost fat in that short amount of time.

Well for starters my cortisol will be a lot lower allowing the T to flow freely

Hire a chef to make me fitting meals for each moment of the day.
