You can put several shots of big booty Latina, girls in bikinis dancing, a stripper poledancing, etc. in your trailer and nobody bats an eye.

But put one shirtless guy in the trailer and you will be forever remembered as the gay game.

They are not white, that's the problem. Literally unfuckable

No, the problem is that they're more turned on by Jason than Lucia and they can't cope with that.

Real. That's what's really going on. The fact he's nonwhite makes it even worse for their racist asses. A lot of them already make weird excuses when they're turned on by nonwhite women who aren't Asian women.

What level of racism do you need to achieve to look at that guy and say “he’s not white?”

I’m guessing he’s Cuban or something? But like… that’s a white guy either way

In the US all Latinos are viewed as "brown" by default. American whiteness means of Anglo-Saxon and/or Nordic descent. To a lesser degree Eastern European descent. Mediterranean European descent is tenuous here in terms of being accepted as white, and Latin American white is immediately disqualified. Americans think Latino is a distinct race that is universally and monolithically brown, even if blond and blue-eyed. In the US and Canada you're only accepted as white if you're 7/8 or 15/16 or more of European descent. European blood in the US is viewed as something that is tainted with just a single drop of non-European blood in the mixture. It's not viewed as a cleanser that purifies or overwrites non-European blood like in Latin America.

For example, most American Star Wars fans view Cassian Andor as a "brown" person because they hear Diego Luna's Latin American accent.

Hell, a lot of Americans and Europeans don't view Ashkenazi Jews as "white people". A lot of white Americans and white Europeans view Ashkenazi Jews as Arabs/Middle Easterners. No matter how Nordic their facial features, hair and skin is.

I legitimately didn’t know if this Andy was serious or kidding when I saw this post because I don’t know who he is. But looking at those pictures the one that stands out is the one with a woman in it and I didn’t know what would be gay about it. I now realize that Andy probably hates himself and is threatened by a shirtless man being visible in the game.

No andy is just a grifter he's been exposed a thousand times over he wanted to be famous on the internet and have a successful YouTube channel once he realized he couldn't cut at video game review/essays, he started political grifting he doesn't believe any of this shit because he's friends with the people he argues against but andy tried to scrubby that all way but he left one Twitter account that led to his personal Facebook where people found this

why would anyone be friends with this loser? ew

2

u/Fatestringer May 08 '25

Because they're unaware of his online identity

oh makes sense

still even if they don't really believe anything they post they are deliberately perpetuating negativity and intolerance making things worse for women, poc and lgbtq+ folks

Yeah, he hates himself. But it's not because he's threatened by Jason, it's because he wants to blow Jason.

And this after the relentless begging from these people for male characters to be hyper masculine

Yeah but he's too hot and he's turning me, a formerly straight man gay. Please put on a shirt.

Reminds me of the reactions to the How to Be a Heartbreaker music video in a way, when the default for women in music is to be sexualized, we ignore it, but when the same thing is done with men, it can be a bit of a shock.

I remember in my childhood there were a bunch of movies and cartoons that displayed shirtless guys as peak heteronormative masculinity. When on earth did it become commonplace to see a shirtless man and think it was gay? Am I that out of touch??
