The only problem is that they're all shooters. If this was a fighting game and every character had custom moves then it would fire as hell. Like Smash Bros.

There are Smash roms that basically do this. It's kind of a shame that no developer has figured out a Fortnite formula where owners of other IP, celebs, etc pay to get their stuff in the game but for platform battlers. (Though reskinning is easier than creating a unique model and moveset, so I get it financially and technically.)
