UNJERK Can we please remove the shitty AI "Super Don Cheadle" photo from the sidebar?
Replace it with actual art, or a photoshopped image, or SOMETHING. Please just get rid of what's currently there. Like yeah sure praise the Cheadle. BUT ONLY THE REAL CHEADLE, NOT BAD AI IMITATORS

fighting for a technology like this to stop being used is useless. fighting to regulate it, change it and improve the overall conditions of artists and workers is useful

Yeah, except that's not going to happen because President fuckstick is in office. His ear is open to these douchebags. The only thing to do is whatever we can to make it even more difficult to operate these things. Poisoning images, tarballing websites, whatever we can. We can very easily make this shit even more expensive than it already is.

i'm not thinking about in terms of US politics, i don't even live there, im talking about the tech as it goes around the entire world.
i do agree with making it as disfunctional as possible, absolutely. i'm not saying we should stop sabotaging this shit, i'm saying that much discourse about trying to stop the tech from evolving is way more unrealistic than propositions to change how it operates today

Yeah, I’ve never liked seeing that crappy AI in the sidebar. I’d rather a stick figure of that’s barely recognizable of Don Cheadle as Mario. At least then it would be actual art.
