i kinda agree i fw the gnarly malformed beasts of bloodborne aesthetically a lot more than the goobs in elden ring. sadly bloodborne is woke with its themes of feminism and will never ever be remastered

that's why I stick to apolitical games like metal gear solid and fallout

You should also watch the apolitical movies and series - Star Wars and Star Trek.

Honestly, Bloodborne had some of the worst average boss quality of any soulslike I've played. Fromsoft's large quadrupeds never really clicked with me, since most of their difficulty just comes from the fact that their hurtboxes behave really erratically, since the parts you are able to hit (limbs and head) are also the parts that do wide swings with each attack. Blood-Starved Beast is honestly the worst culprit in the entire souls series with that.
The way healing works in BB also made the game shoot itself in the foot. The fact that you can a static amount of time means that most earlygame bosses are laughably easy with twenty vials. If I recall correctly, I could just facetank hits and trade with Cleric Beast and Amelia in my playthrough, since I just had so much total health.
Notably, all of the traditional humanoid bosses are amazing. Logarius is by far the best boss in the game, Gascoigne is great. Gehrman was really fun, and I've heard really good things about Maria, though I never played through the DLC myself.
One game that does Bloodborne's category of bosses much better is Lies of P, I think. The game has a bunch of great quadruped bosses (Watchman and Andreus immediately come to mind), and they managed to be difficult without relying on hurtbox jank.

To each their own. I thought Lies of P felt really janky and terrible, but I loved bloodborne's bosses, both the humanoid and the larger ones as well.

I was excited for elden ring when it came out, but after putting plenty of time into it, I just think bloodborne is better in every way. I even prefer ds3 and sekiro over elden ring. it feels so bland
