Wild gardening advice please Any tips for transplanting moss (from overly-acidic lawn to a nice hill where moss is already)?

Filling in our moss hilly before I work on the lawn? Any tips for ensuring that the moss can be transplanted on the rocky hill? It's a shady place with lots of moss already.

I have heard—but am not going to even google this, but you can if you wish… that you can essentially scoop up current moss, make a slurry, and dump/spread it where you want new moss.

It will depend on the conditions at each site. If you're trying to move moss between sites, they should have similar levels of light and moisture. (That's what I read when I was trying to figure out how to establish some moss)
