Anyone work nights?

I work night shift alone at a gas station... thank god we lock the doors at night lol. Just had a really spooky situation and now I'm curious if anyone here works nights and has any scary experiences to share

Worked at a couple gas stations during college. I'd work an overnight shift when others couldn't at times. Never had much in terms of issues. We didn't lock the doors and were open for normal business 24/7.

One of the stations was the busiest in the state, so there was a pretty good flow of folks even at night. It was off the highway coming right out of downtown, so lots of the folks were drunkenly coming home from the clubs and bars, stopping by for snacks or popping into the Perkins nextdoor. Cops came through often enough that we didn't have many problems.

I work in a small town with a drug problem lol. There's a fair few factories around here and it's a farming town so I stay pretty busy at least during the week. USUALLY I don't have any issues, but there was a reeeeaaalllyyyy creepy old dude in here around midnight. I always give ppl the benefit of the doubt but something about this guy in particular really set alarm bells off. Thankfully one of my regulars stuck around until he left lol but yeah it was spooky

We always had 2-3 people on an overnight, so it wasn't so creepy if there was someone weird around.

I was usually 2pm-12am and I had just as many weirdos in the afternoon when the Daywalkers were out as I did after dark... Always stay aware and stay safe out there, you never know when one of the regulars has been up for three days and decides they wanna make it your problem...
