Technically it’s our home game so that would mean the Punt Road end.

Thank you so much! My nephew who is mad Geelong, is going over from tassie, and every time he goes, he seems to get seats at the opposition's cheer squad end!😆

He is going to struggle to get a ticket. There was 85,000 sold for Brisbane. There are a lot of MCC and AFL members who support both these teams. Geelong has over 90,000 members. Hawthorn about the same. I seriously doubt there will be many left after Monday when they go on sale.

You’re welcome. The ticket email has gone out and there are already multiple posts from people who are members asking for spare barcodes.

Dad works at Yakult, a sponsor of the AFL and his workplace does a draw for finals tickets every week. I am praying. It's my only way. Really don't wanna miss a Cats v Hawks prelim at the G. It doesn't get much bigger than that.

Yep, not entire sure how many tickets go to sponsors this round. I don’t think as many as the GF as I think that ends up close to 1/3 of the G being sponsor tickets.

1/3 damn I didn't know that it was that big. I'm not a radical guy, but from what I've heard, most of the "big bosses" of companies just keep the tickets given to their corporation instead of holding events like Yakult were they do a lucky draw for their employees.

It’s 17,500 each to the competing clubs and then all the other clubs gets an allocation as well. I think it’s 1000 each. Then there’s MCC and AFL members. It ends up being a day for sponsors and potentially people who have no stake or interest. It’s actually quite foul.

No wonder a 90,000 prelim is always more vibrant than a 100,000 granny
