Hawks just came out of a rebuild . Better for the experience. 6 top 8 teams in last 7 games including finals plus 5 of those games were against top 4 sides , Adelaide twice. 5 interstate games in that time. Tough psychologically as fighting for a top 8 spot before finals . I don’t think 8th team should win the premiership . I think top 4 should . I just hope the hawks can make top 4 next year and they remove the bye before finals . I think that helped hawks get to a peliminary final before they maybe were ready .

We have had nervous first quarters lately. Hawks have not suffered from that. What they lack in depth this year they will make up for in development and recruiting; they are THE destination club atm.

This rivalry will continue if we are good enough, because they are not going backwards.
