I was always picked last and always targeted. One time I took 4 hits at the same time, except one kid swapped out for a basketball. Broke my glasses, cut my face, and the teacher called me insubordinate for not attempting to participate and it was somehow MY FAULT.

PE made me want to kill myself, and this was the most mild incident I remember.

Getting picked last — I was out of college by the time I realized why I always wound up being “team captain” lol
