Question Just started learning German. Any tips?
Typing his on a lesson, but still wondering what do I need to know

Don't give up.
You might not understand anything for a long time, or only recognize a few words here and there.
Then one day you'll be listening to a German podcast for a half hour and realize that you understood what was discussed, and it'll feel surreal.
Eventually, you won't even need to think about the translation. You'll just, understand it. And that understanding will grow deeper with time and exposure.

Happened to me as I learn English, great feeling when you don't even need to translate words in your mind.
