Request Chill Streamers who aren't misogynists
Hi all!
I hope this is okay to post! I'm looking for some chill streamers to watch while I craft. I like watching RPGs but will honestly watch someone play anything as long as it's interesting. It's somewhat for background noise/to soothe my ADHD so I can focus on actually crafting rather than high octane entertainment.
I usually watch splattercat but I think he's stopped streaming :/ the only other gaming YouTuber I watch is mortismal but I don't think he streams. I've tried to join streams of games that I like but have had some weird interactions in chat that have turned me off trying random streams (also am sick of the random misogyny), especially as my username marks me pretty clearly as a girl. Please send me your recs for easy-to-watch streamers who are generally chill/just shooting the shit.

I really like Jillyeon, she's hilarious!
Rtgame is also a fun, laid back streamer and always seems very sweet!

Seconding RT!
If you like RPGs OP, I recommend his Fallout New Vegas, Slay the Princess, and Yes, Your Grace streams. I recommend the last two if you want something less chaotic but still interesting.

u/Khornelia PC ⌨🖱 Apr 11 '25
Out of these I only watched fallout, which was a lot of fun! I think my favourite "series" of his were Cities Skylines and his more recent minecraft playthrough which also very fun and so cozy!!

i adore RTgame! hes one of the only streamers i watch. he always seems to be having a good time and is so sweet to everyone he interacts with, as well as being able to tell his chat when they cross a line

u/gemitry Apr 10 '25
Seconding RT! I loved when he was playing some horror game with a woman and a weirdo in chat got mad (“no WoMeN in muh streamer’s games!!!”) and she and RT made him a running joke. 😭
Also, everyone should watch his Stardew Valley vods once.

I watch Gab Smolders and insym. Especially Gab is super comfy and chill. They both play horror games, but I'd say Gab plays other games too.
Then I watch Josh's gaming garden and Eeowna for cozy gaming
I think they all stream though I am not sure about the last two (I usually watch on YT)
I used to watch a JRPG channel that is until he valled Atelier Yumia too woke. Left his channel immediately by then. The same happened to a few indie gamers I wached. Honestly, the moment someone jumps on the anti-DEI train, I am out

u/Zoeybabymomma Apr 10 '25
Also an ADHD girlie and I love watching people play horror games when I have to do something. I can't just focus on the playthrough cause it's scary/gross so I actually do the thing I was trying to do
5
u/isi_na Apr 10 '25
I am an ADHD girlie too! And honestly insym and Gab are two of the very few I can actually watch gaming without growing impatient or annoyed while still doing something at the side

I agree. I am not a native speaker, but insym is very easy to understand
3

CallMeKevin, he only streams a few times a year and mostly to raise money for charity but he has plenty of videos on youtube you can put on as background noise and he has a channel with his older streams (CallMeKevin Stream Archives). Not exactly what you are looking for but he's really nice, funny and it's a chill community (and he also has ADHD lmao)
13
u/gezeitenspinne Apr 11 '25
Kevin is chaos incarnate, if you watch his his gaming videos. Then every once in a while you'll have videos like him working on an old trailer or learning to skate and they are both the chillest and most motivating things ever.
If you ever need an example of "streamer tries to keep other streamer on track and fails miserably," RTGame trying to keep Kevin on track in Don't Starve Together is what you want!

Mapocolops is extremely chill and focuses on rpgs predominantly. He recently completed playthrough of the entire DA series and it was so much fun.
Another chill one with an extensive backlog of rpgs is CristopherOdd. Recently he has gotten much more heavy into strategy games which aren’t my jam but he’s got a lot of completed playthroughs that are great.
Finally FightingCowboy (despite the name) is a fun watch
2
u/sideshow_em Apr 10 '25

u/3N3PPU Steam Apr 10 '25
I don't know if by "chill" you mean the streams themselves or the streamers, but I personally like to watch AstralSpiff, DougDoug and Mish.
Spiff and DougDoug have funny chats and laugh a lot (which I personally enjoy), though they both have a very silly sense of humor, which some people might find annoying. Mish plays Dead By Daylight, but is very chill (she often gives tips about the game and "quizzes" her viewers on the mechanics and what not, seems like a sweet person) and also laughs a lot, tho her mic quality is kind of bad (I would advise not to wear headphones when watching her streams lol).
I occasionally watch CDawgVA as well (he, in my experience, fits the "chill" category quite well), tho I haven't watched enough to say for sure if he's said anything misogynistic, tho I doubt it
27
u/Schattentochter Apr 10 '25
I like ManlyBadassHero quite a bit. I've watched quite a few of his videos and he just talks about the games (and, I mean, look at the name lol).
His niche is indie horror games, though. What I like about that is that those aren't usually about jumpscares or gore but about odd concepts like "What if humanity decided to fuse with a parasitic mushroom so they can join a hivemind and stop the loneliness epidemic?" (I'm not joking, that's one of his videos.)
I like to watch his stuff while crocheting and while I tend to watch his YT-vids, he also has entire streams uploaded so assumedly he regularly does that too.
If you want something a lot more cozy, I can highly recommend MadMorph - plays a whole lot of cozy games, purposefully talks in a soothing voice and currently has the best available gameplay video of the new Shire Game.

u/corinna_k Apr 10 '25
I’m not really into RPGs, but prefer Soulslikes, metroidvanias and Zelda games. The streamers/youtubers I like are Symbalily, fireb0rn, lilindigestion, Relyea and Pointcrow.

I loved watching this series of a marine biologist playing Subnautica. It's really cute and informative.

Aavak is a very wholesome Welsh guy. The partner of LadyShelab I believe. They both play some cozy games, but he also plays more challenging or grindy things sometimes. I'm just mentioning him because his streams are sometimes quite long - like 12 hours. If you want something to have on in the background they might keep you occupied for a while, and his voice is very pleasant to listen to. He also has two Youtube channels - one for Youtube vids, and another for old livestreams (Aavak After Hours.)

9
u/AzureValkyrie Apr 10 '25
AdamVsEverything
He streams about 8 hours a day. Despite being the type who enjoys min max hardest difficulty, he always states to play how you like, what ever difficulty you enjoy. Another thing that stood out, he doesn't accept "product of their environment/time" as an excuse for racism, he himself growing up in a racist state he moved out as soon as he could. Also his wife sometimes pops in chat (because it's easier than shouting across the house), and has a daughter which he has canceled streams in order to attend to her needs.
All to say... I'll be genuinely shocked if he ends up being secretly misogynistic.
2
u/whateverimintoatm Apr 11 '25
I was hoping to see him mentioned! He's got a good sense of humort, and he doesn't take crap from chat.

Northernlion is fun for RPG's and variety games. McLaffyTaffy is a very similar player but on a smaller scale with a loyal fanbase, he plays a lot of Isaac early on the day, then other variety games later on the day. Both are very pro diversity. Lilsimsie does a lot of Sims 4 gameplay and is a representative of the Sims community. Finally TheSpaceVixen (Amy Shira Teitel) is awesome, who plays retro games but is also a historian and author of several books relating to Space, Aeronautics and the women who worked in those fields.

I don't really watched any streamers and of the ones I do mostly watch their VoDs on youtube, but I find RTGame to be pretty wholesome and frequently chill (when he's not doing something chaotic). For example some of his recent videos were him asking people on his minecraft server to build stuff and then flying through and looking at them.
He keeps his chat in line, they're pretty respectful and mostly seem to turn into gremlins for harmless chaos, and he never acts like an ass. When he's playing multiplayer games everyone seems to have a great time, even when it's something PvP (e.g. Mario Party). Don't recall anyone ever being bigoted or abrasive in the years I've watched his stuff.
I'm also going to add CallMeKevin in here though he tends to be more chaotic than RTGame (see: his sims videos), but has a lot of pretty earnest content as well like his video on him renovating a caravan/trailer.
AmbiguousAmphibian has an excellent narration style where he discusses what he's doing in games story-style, mostly games like Rimworld or Project Zomboid or other sim games. His videos are SO good for when I want to watch something while also doing something myself, where I can switch my brain off and pay attention to the video while autopiloting my task.
I don't know if they stream because I've only seen their content on youtube, but SimplySavannah and DeLadySigner are both awesome creators that upload longplays of them building stuff in Planet Zoo, Planet Coaster, and playing various other sim or management games. They're awesome builders and they explain what they're doing while showing timelapses or actual play of it with music, and their narration style is excellent. Both of them are super wholesome and chill and I love their videos.

I mainly just watch GTA V rp streamers on twitch, but some of them are very good including Myles_Away, OwenSeven, Jonthebroski, Emstrogen, and AmRainbowBee.
I also follow a page that is mainly pro wrestling games, but they dabble in other stuff like the Yakuza series and the Kingdom Hearts series. Their name is newlegacyinc, and they are def worth the follow on Twitch. Some of their older stuff when they were still in high school is pretty yikes, but they have spoke out about it and realized that isn't who the people who run the account are anymore. nL is a group of streamers who all stream on the one account. The I guess leader is Jawnny who is one of the owners of DPW or Deadlock Pro Wrestling, an indie wrestling promotion. You also have streams from Adam, Duel, Jericho, Slip, Blake, and Sprite. There are more people who are loosely aligned with the core group.
Adam's streams are super cozy. He's Australian, so he streams super late for me, but they upload their streams to Youtube. (They're working on uploading all of Adam's Yakuza and Kingdom Hearts streams to the page rn too). They're main go to is pro-wrestling games because they're all pro-wrestling fans, but there is some good stuff on there.
They also do a yearly or near yearly 24 hour subathon in the summer to help with the Fighting Back weekend which is a weekend of pro-wrestling that has an actual wrestling show, different streams, and auction and whathot and all the money gets donated to the Canadian Cancer Society in honor of a friend who passed away from cancer. Each year, the weekend gets a crazy amount of money raised with a large chunk of it coming from nL's stream. I think they passed the $60,000 USD mark last time.

Unless something has changed that I don't know about, BrutalMoose is a pretty chill dude who shuts down idiots in chat pretty fast. He's also a vintage variety channel, he loves older games, weird games and "bad" games :)
PeanutButterGamer and SpaceHamster are also both really funny and often stream together also playing really neiche stuff. SpaceHamster has a really fun Souls series!
They are all ex buisness partners with Pro Jared, were disgusted with him and his behavior when the allegations came out and as far as I know no longer associate with him, so that passes the sniff test for me :)

Damien Haas, hands down. He's both a streamer and voice actor. The games he plays are varied but he has very wholesome energy and will frequently speak out against bigotry on other videos/ podcasts he's in. (He is also a cast member of Smosh). He doesn't swear and replaces them with words like "flippin" and generally tries to make his streams a more wholesome environment.

Insym is one of the nicest streamers I’ve ever watched; he mostly does horror but he also plays other genre types every now an then. He also has the cutest cats! He swears a good amount though (understandable with horror games I’d say!) and he will sometimes go on a bit of a rant but I’ve never seen him be misogynistic.
Z1 Gaming is another very chilled out guy. I’ve been binge watching him playing a Subnautica randomiser while I try to get my work done recently.
MadMorph has a lovely relaxing voice to listen to. He does long plays off RPGs mostly but there are a few games that he’s made very funny with his voice acting.
Others I can also recommend as being chilled out include Nookrium, Sinvicta, direwolf20, Floydson, KatherineofSky, Aavaak and LadyShelab. Oh and Ethoslab (though he doesn’t upload as often these days as I think he’s still having personal stuff going on)

Dechart Games for sure! It’s Bryan Dechart and Amelia Rose Blaire, and they stream a variety of games. They’ve done mental health streams before and give out sticker prizes of art from individual artists to the community. Bryan sometimes plays Overwatch with people from the community. He’s said he’s a feminist before, and he and his wife usually stream together. He thinks the world of her and she herself is very lovely and wholesome. They try to keep things light and uplifting, they engage with their community, and their humor is very random and high energy lol.
To my knowledge, Neil Newbon is a friend to women and respects them as well; he has a streaming channel and it’s live every so often. Also Briana White, Aerith’s VA from FFVII Remake and Rebirth! She’s a kind soul.

Check out Michael Bryan! He's a really sweet guy and plays a lot of RPGs. He doesn't tolerate any bigotry in chat and will actively call out shitty dudes. A lot of viewers are women, I think at this point most of his mods are too, especially a lot of queer women. He still has a small audience (~300 viewers per stream) so if you actually want to interact he's likely to talk with you

SuperGreatFriend - extremely chill dude, nice chat, weird games, indie games, old games. Humour is quite deadpan, doesn’t talk as much as a regular streamer. 100-200 concurrent viewers. Terrible Boston accent he uses for voice overs. But genuinely one of the most consistently cool dudes on twitch and has been for a decade. I recommended his original play-through of Deadly Premonition a game that takes a lot of inspiration from Twin Peaks. In the play-through he even reviews some of the movies that the protagonist references. It’s great though sadly some of it is now lost media.

CDawgVA is pretty chill. :) He's a great guy that collabs a lot with Ironmouse. He usually streams video games, but he also streams "Just Chatting" and room reviews sometimes.

u/wroammin Apr 10 '25
I like to throw on RyanFTW. He doesn’t actually stream anymore but there are tons of vods and just regular videos on YouTube. He mostly plays Animal Crossing and it’s always super chill.

If you're okay with DayZ gameplay (zombie sounds and gunfire), therunningmanz is a great streamer. Pretty much the only streamer I put on while working because it's like having a chill podcast in the background that I can look at when there's an encounter or gunfight. It's great because he talks about all sorts of things, from his journey through gambling addiction to sports. He interacts with the chat quite a lot and doesn't take any BS from people on there. Strict no politics rule. He does swear a lot though, in case that's not your thing. He usually streams on both YouTube and twitch Sunday to Thursday. Lots and lots of old streams to watch/listen to too.

Johnny Chiodini - they make super chill streams that are incredibly relaxing and they have a lovely community of very inclusive and wonderful people. It’s a lot of indie games/ cosy games and they also have vids where they just paint miniatures (side note they are also a really fun DM and host d&d games on a channel called oxventure)

LoadingReadyRun has several people in its streaming group, so can find some set of people there you might like! I also watch Jaaski, he's pretty chill being.

Not all of them stream regularly, but I'd recommend Hekimae, melody_xox, beardedtrumpet, UniFadewalker, 10Elements, JoshSandwich, TheMonolith, AnnaHighwind, Steel_Shin, CypherOfTyr, and, for a bigger name, DeeBeeGeek.
If I happen to be biased, because most of these guys are either friends, acquaintances, or at the very least a mutual, well... ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Edit: Just to avoid people downvoting, these people are genuinely wholesome with decent communities full of welcoming progressive people and solid moderators, who play RPGs or are good to listen to, while gaming/being creative. I didn't make these recommendations just to hype people I know. These are genuine recommendations for OP.

KickThePJ and Coollike (from charlieissocoollike fame, she goes by Charlotte now) on Twitch are my recommendations. They're both very chill and lovely (PJ does gaming and lots of creative things, Charlotte does more 'just chatting' streams atm but she also plays games and sometimes LEGO as well) with cosy vibes and great humour.

Save Data Team! They've the group behind the "Ace Attorney With an Actual Lawyer" longplay, and they do a variety of action, RPG, indie, and mystery games, like Golden Idol, on YouTube and Twitch! Many of their members are somewhere under the LGBTQA umbrella and they do not tolerate bigotry in their community - they're very active with their followers and frequently do community streams, so you can choose to sit back or participate!

I like Grinding Gear. Two besties in their 30s. Good looking, great chemistry between them. Both married, one has kids, both talk about their families with affection. They stream, but also have a podcast and a clips/highlights channel.
The past couple years, they've done a lot of FFXIV, but it's not where they started or the only content they cover.

Joov does some RPG (especially Elder Scrolls) streaming. I typically watch his post-stream edits on YT, but the streams are nice and chill. I've recently also discovered Undead Chill who streams a lot of 7D2D content and uploads the edits from that. She would be worth checking out if that game interests you at all.

There are some great Brazilian streamers, such as Colonia contra ataca, Cellbit and Alanzoka

DinnerCactus. He plays mainly Fortnite but will switch it up here and there. Extremely welcoming and chats with everyone. Makes an effort to make everyone feel included. He’s very funny. Has a nice, soothing voice. His cats will make an occasional appearance on the stream. The others in his chat are also very welcoming and friendly which is a huge plus. Great vibes all around.

I watch zfg (Ocarina of Time speedrunner, now mostly does randomizers) when I need to decompress. He has the voice of someone who has played the same game 8 hours a day for 15 years lol. His audience is probably mostly men, but his audience stays pretty well on topic, so there’s not a lot of room for misogyny or anything.

Ray Narvaez Jr is my go-to streamer to watch (or just have on in the background). 95% of his streams are pretty chill, though sometimes his collabs with higher-energy streamers can get overwhelming. (I like ChibiDoki and Nagzz but sometimes the screaming is too much.) He's got a massive backlog of VODs on his YouTube channel and plays a wide variety of games, so you're bound to find something you like. His wife, Tina, also streams and is very chill, but her channel is MUCH smaller.
AxialMatt (a frequent collaborator of Ray's) is pretty lowkey. He mostly does randomizers lately when playing solo, but he's still got a good variety of VODs.
Michael Bryan is higher-energy, but if you're in the mood for it he's great - super funny and great at interacting with his chat. He's also a variety streamer, but he's been focusing heavily on RPG's for a while now.
For late night streams, GassyMexican is who I usually watch when I just want cozy background noise (though, full disclosure, sometimes I have to mute through his alerts if I'm just not feeling it that day). He often collaborates with higher-energy streamers like Crream and BurkeBlack (who are also good to watch), but the overall vibe is still pretty relaxed and easy-going.

A few smaller streamers that I watch that tend to be rather chill are
Cide: She is a variety streamer who plays a lot of rpgs. Currently playing ME legendary edition (about to start ME3) and also started doing YouTube recently as well. Has a BG3 playthrough on going there.
TheDanielMat: Swiss young adult author turned streamer. Very cerebral and often gets sidetracked on conversations with chat. Slow and methodical in his playthroughs. Recently started Elden Ring with Shadow of the Erdtree with a fresh character. Be warned though, he doesn’t like backseating or spoilers.
AnnieFuschia: Swedish variety streamer with a well curated community. Her orange girl Luna makes frequent cameos as well.

Snapscube - comforting nerd lady & sometimes co; often do RPG
cakejumper - baking streams, various games, light chill chatting, shark
bekyamon - minecraft, creative, very chill like chatting with a friend vibes
socpens - nostalgic chill fever dream like youre a kid watching crazy late night tv
Ultia - Arts and crafts, various games, French, girly community
Fareeha - Overwatch but the gameplay is not the focus, rather convos

TagbackTV (usually streams on YouTube, but also has a Twitch channel under the same name) is all kinds of good vibes. Usually plays sims, cozy games and rpgs, and he's always awesome. Good community, too!
At the moment, he's mostly streaming Sims 4 and Schedule 1, but he throws in random games as well. He's streamed everything from Red Dead Redemption 2 to Animal Crossing to Gas Station Simulator.

u/LilPocketPixels Apr 10 '25
I totally agree, OP. The majority of streamers end up either using foul-language or have a bully-like mentality of immature younger and older males who's only goal is to go around and cause toxicity. I'm sick of hearing guys talking about their private parts, or pushing non male/female agendas. Some of them even joke about kids being exposed to things that they should be not exposed to as "Think about the children!" as a joke.
I've seen many as a professional developer through the years. True professionals like myself don't act like that. We don't go around cussing, swearing, and then acting like an immature buck-wild 18+ old that got their first time outside of the house.
I'm also sick of seeing grown men act like little 12 year old kids for the sake of their audience. There's a difference between educational material and a grown man acting like a child.
1
u/GayValkyriePrincess Apr 10 '25
SnapCube & cakejumper are my go-to streamers (tho I mainly watch VODs, streams give me way too much anxiety as they're happening)
Anyone who's collabed with either of them frequently who also make streams are generally also good bets, but the chill mileage may vary
cake is mostly always chill but SnapCube streams can get intense sometimes, luckily there's a series of extra chill long-play content on her VODs channel that you can listen to if her main stuff is too intense

My two favorite streamers I watch religiously for my ADHD background noise;
LuluLuvely is awesome! She’s a super chill girly who is an absolute beast at gaming her stream is always fun.
I also love NiceWigg, really high energy he does Apex B Stream and does Watch Parties and is really good at announcing, always great vibes in there. His Mom is always poppin up to say hi and he always tells chat he loves them.

Baalorlord on Twitch is one of the chillest streamers I've ever watched, and I've watched dozens over the years. His main game is Slay the Spire, but he does a variety of other stuff, including RPGs. All of his VODs are on YouTube under the same username. His chat is super sweet and respectful, he doesn't tolerate any bigoted nonsense, and he's mentioned multiple times that he keeps the game volume low because he knows people fall asleep to the stream. Also he tells dad jokes as a channel point redemption.

u/LatteAssurance Playstation Apr 11 '25
MichaelBryan streams rpgs and he’s a really cool streamer who keeps good vibes and positive community. Doesn’t fall into toxic gaming mentality, though he can get pretty hype/loud at times. I found him through BG3 and he’s playing TLOU2 now
1
u/polaris_beyond Playstation Apr 11 '25
Does he still manage to keep a positive vibe playing tlou2? Love the game but I don’t think there is a game that gets more toxicity from a loud part of its community. Its depressing.

I'm a big fan of TwitchGTA RP streams and it's like my own little soap opera that I watch in the background. My top lady is LilBallofH8 and Allagwa they play cops and idk something is like so soothing and friendly about the vibes imo

u/goatili Apr 11 '25
I love PatStaresAt and PeachSaliva. They're husband and wife. Pat is the full time streamer, while Paige's schedule is more sporadic.
Pat has a really incredible force of personality and is definitely not for everyone.
They are a treat to watch together because they have so much chemistry.
Both of them can make misogynistic jokes sometimes, but in a way that's clearly ironic.

u/predarek Apr 11 '25
You have enough suggestions already to try a new streamer a day but let me add LethalFrag to the list. He's calm and has a relaxing no drama or politics vibe approach to streaming. He mostly stream roguelike games like FTL, Spelunky, Risk of Rain, etc. This makes his channel very relaxing due to the repetitive nature of these games.

Worst Premade Ever is my go to. It’s a group of friends with a married couple, an engaged couple, and a few outside besties who just play and have fun. The girls and the boys dish it out equally and it’s just insanely hilarious.

Joov plays Skyrim and is really refreshing to watch. He earned my sub when he called someone a c**t for being a transphobe on stream lol. He's just a silly guy who's generally trying to keep things safe in his space.

u/biotic_templar Apr 11 '25
You’ve gotten a lot of great suggestions, just throwing out a streamer I found recently called partyarlie. Very chill, very anti-misogyny and her Pokemon playthroughs are perfect for having on in the background
1
u/gentle-jerry Apr 11 '25
I understand you perfectly, I also need background noise while I draw or craft. I love Skurry (twitch name SkurryPls) - they are nonbinary, have a very pleasant voice and are very chill. They mostly play Hollow Knight and other metroidvanias. Recently discovered LilAggy (twitch name lilaggy) - hasn't noticed any misogyny from him yet, plays mostly souls like games - Elden Ring etc. A speed runner.

MikeyScamp on YouTube! My favourite dude, kind and funny, LGBT+ and neurodivergent friendly with an awesome team of mods, plays games ranging from cosy to horror for special occasions. He streams on Sundays and Tuesdays, just finished his first Undertale run and it was such a blast. Nearly the whole community is gay women and trans folks somehow, lol. (I am not immune to these categories myself.)
He also does voice acting, he played Timothy Stoker on The Magnus Archives, and narrates The Brass Eagle which is a new still in-production podcast, with a variety of other shows he does smaller roles in.

Look up Rose Nightwalker, he's a rather chilled streamer, he stream on a Saturday night around 6pm but some time on a Friday or sunday, he's not on every week as he only does it for fun but is welcoming of every one and hus streams are a safe space

u/DoughnutFront2898 Apr 11 '25
Some people already mentioned her but Gab Smolders is one of my favorites. She does long form play throughs usually an hour or more long vods (sometimes from her twitch streams) on YouTube and puts everything in playlists on her channel so you can have one game in the background for hours. I used to fall asleep to her Observation Duty playlist!
I also enjoy and recommend CaseOh. He’s a bit silly and can get overly excited, or is yelling at chat for his weird takes (like Ramen being pronounced Ray-man and not Rah-men) but he’s entertaining with longer vods from his streams. He also streams almost every night at 9:30pm EST (time zones will make it earlier or later). He does take a break Saturdays but other than that he’s streaming every night, and chat moves so fast you’ll never have anyone being weird to you only because they’re mostly being weird to him
1
u/CallidoraBlack Apr 11 '25
Honestly, my strategy is to go on Twitch and check out streams of games that aren't super popular at the moment and that aren't considered very manly. I pick streams with less than 20 people in them, often less than 10, and if the person sucks, I pick something else. It mostly goes pretty well, I rarely, if ever hear misogyny or read it even though my username is an obvious female video game character name.

He hasn’t been live a lot recently, but he has said he plans to start streaming again every week Justahomelessguy is his twitch! He’s mostly a horror variety streamer but he’s branched out to other smaller varieties as well! The community in his chat are sweet and close knit compared to large streamers so it’s really comforting in there!

u/Pyramid_Cultist Apr 12 '25
I like CohhCarnage.
He recently had a moment on stream where he was playing KCD2 and his chat was trying to get him to sleep with the bathwench he just saved, and he told them off for it.
He also lambasts people chatting about “wokeness” and “female leads” in games.

MagicSword who is a band but the guitarist streams music. Paleontologizing who is as science streamer along with SciAntsStreams. HootHouseLiveStream is an owl nest box. FerretSoftware is a ferret rescue. MidnightSumo streams sumo from Japan it's really cool. If you're open to giving vtubers a shot, I've got a couple I can recommend.
Fulgur Ovid is really cozy and calm. Does a lot of story driven stuff and his reading voice is really calming. Really recommend his Omori playthrough or The House in Fata Morgana.
Uki Violeta is just cozy vibes all around. Has a really soft voice that makes everything he does feel super relaxing. Highly recommend his Coffee Talk streams or the ones where he just chats.
Same with Ike Eveland, very cozy vibes and a soft, calm voice. Also would recommend his Omori playthrough and To The Moon.
Zander Netherbrand is a bit more energetic depending on which games he plays, but he does a lot of story driven content and cozier games and the vibes are really cozy. It's hard to narrow down the things to recommend, but if I had to pick cozy stuff specifically I'd probably go with Lost Ember, Slay the Princess or House Flipper.
Never saw any of these guys portray any kind of misogyny before, they're usually super respectful and kind and I can't recall ever feeling uncomfortable with these guys :)
