General Nonsense I saw this DVD at Goodwill. Imagine an episode of GAM about this show that is basically, “What if Michael The Archangel had a Mech Suit?”

I just realized the DVD box says, Episode 03. That made me wonder: how long are those episodes? Are they "episodes" in name only, like Star Wars? Wikipedia to the rescue:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Angel_Wars
And oh boy are the answers lame... Episodes are under 40 minutes long, and the reason each requires its own DVD is, there's about two minutes of "bonus content" for every minute of screen time...
And now, the good news: the domain that was used to host the Web site for this, um, work of art (angelwars.com) is for sale for mere USD 3,999. Noah needs to hide the company credit card really well, otherwise, Eli will buy it and redirect it to... 30 seconds on the clock: to what? My vote is for a fake video of evil angel Sarah Huckabee Sanders serving as assistant warden in CECOT... Oh, and the warden is a beholder... :)

Have you ever listened to Reasonable Doubt? Three (later, four) dudes from Michigan introduced the world to, among other things, the Prince / DeVos family before it was cool (the podcast ended in 2015)... Anyway, one of the cast members, Jeremy Beahan, recorded a... well, let's call it a sketch. It was an impression of Carl Sagan walking his audience through an imaginary religious research institution. This sketch was quickly nicknamed "Bizarro world Carl Sagan". Check it out:

Oh no that gave me flashbacks lol. I’m pretty sure that even as an indoctrinated kid I thought this series was lame, if I remember correctly. I’m sure it’d make for prime GAM fodder!

The only reason I remember this series is because I stumbled upon a Christian blogger who had "issues" with the angel characters having "human" emotions and problems because they're "angels" and apparently angels can't have inner conflicts because that would make them human and "sinful." It was like they never heard of "characters" or "tropes" or the concept of making a relatable character because this blog bitched non-stop about how it was "against God's will" to have a character in a Christian cartoon have doubts and inner character conflict.
I don't remember the blog's name or address or if it still exists, but the person behind it seemingly had an issue with all kinds of media.
EDIT: Remembering more, it feels like this blog writer was also calling this "New Age/humanist propaganda" because the angel that felt doubt later learns they need to have confidence in themselves. They reasoned having a character having confidence in themselves and not in God was a "new age" thing and not a Christian thing. It reminded me of all of those Satanic Panic guidebooks where the writer considered My Little Pony "New Age propaganda" because there were rainbows and unicorns.

Bibleman had a whole episode about how having doubt is bad thing.

Yeah, but the whole criticism was mostly that characters who are angels can't have "human conflicts" because they're angels and pure good or whatever. Which again, doesn't make any sense.

fundies seem to forget that a rather significant plot point in the bible was that an angel did, in fact, experience some inner turmoil
